Asus TUF X570 GAMING PLUS Motherboard BIOS fix

    Hello,
I had my old motherboard i really want build a HTPC and i want use this mobo but i tried BIOS update in 2024 and the motherboard is cooked it get orange led only tried change cpu ram everything but can't fixit. (I bought the motherabord second hand in 2023.)
It has a Winbond 25Q256JWEQ (I think this is a 1.8V model so i used the 1.8v adapter aswell.) Bios chip on it i tried reflash with my EZP2019+ programmer but when i manually choose a chip like similar to this i click the read button and only shows 000 and i can erase it when i try write i can't verify it.

I have a clip and i want use this i can't solder the chip.

Which chip is similar to this Winbond chip or how can i fix this?
Can i flash this type of chip with this programmer and how?

I have a BIOS file from ASUS Website.

    Thanks for the help.

You can try to add chip support - https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...ro-programmers
Slow the speed down to 6Mhz as well

Add chip support to EZP2019, EZP2019...ro Programmers
I downloaded the EZP2019+ software from the linked site, I attached them to my post in that thread

When using a clip, it takes several tries to align it properly, there's a Test button, it should read the Chip ID (EF6019)
Use the 1.8V adapter, manually select W25Q256FW

Click image for larger version Name:	ezp2019+.png Views:	0 Size:	54.7 KB ID:	3712639

Asus ROG Strix Scar G533qm with a G733qm Motherboard, can I modify the Bios to accept G533 Bios
            by glovecaps
            Hello,

I have a Asus ROG Strix Scar 15 (G533QM) that had a dead motherboard (Graphics card dead) and after trying to fix the motherboard with no success, I bit the bullet on a sale for a new motherboard. I ordered a motherboard for the 15 inch model which is the one that I have, and when the motherboard arrived it wasn't for a little while that I saw it was from the 17 inch model.

My question is, can I update the Bios on this G733 motherboard to a G533 Bios.

The reason for wanting to do this is that the keyboard isn't working as it should, and I think this...

ASUS ex-b250-V7 motherboard bios corrupted - by me
            by oragano
hey all, i did a silly thing and flashed bios to perfectly working board. None of the asus official download bios would work with ez flash. They all gave error saying not supported bios file. I tried using uefi tool to extract it to a bin file but then ez flash wouldnt even recognise it.
So, i used freedos and afudos with the aforementioned bin file i extracted and forced the issue. After bios reprogram, reboot and it was dead. Fans spinning but no post.
i have a bios writer and none of the .cap files from the official site work either. I just get one spin, then off, then all fans...

            ASUS TP500LA BIOS request/repair/merge?
            by jbonavita
Hi, my laptop wont boot at all
With original bios no POST, only LED lights
With alternative BIOS from model TP500LN (flashed via programmer) the notebook works again
            Some issues
            A- with bios from 500LN, it won't update from bios of model 500LA (from 500LN v203 to 500LA v300)
B- If updated from 500LN version 203 to 300, the battery stops being recognized

            Things I tried

1- Update / clear ME: Took the non working bios, made a backup, and did this: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...theory/trouble...

Asus ROG Ally X -RC72LA - changed hidden bios settings with 'Smokeless-UMAF', won't get past boot logo

ASUS ROG Ally X - (Handheld Gaming PC)
            Model No: RC72LA
            Serial No: SBNVKD001014459

Hi all, I've spent the past week digging through the forums and guides to try correct my foolish mistake of changing hidden settings while tinkering around, and to be honest my heads overloaded so I'm hoping you'll be able to help.

I used a tool called 'Smokeless-UMAF' to access usually hidden settings in the bios. I tweaked one or two 'safe' things but made the mistake of tweaking a lot of settings under 'USB/Thunderbolt Configurations' when I didn't know what they did. For...

            Hi there,
I have an Asus G713QY that won't boot. The machine fire up to a black screen, no post but everything seems to check out on the board. I believe the motherboard needs the bios reloaded but I can't find the bios file. I've looked on the Asus website but what is available for download is the .exe to run in windows (which won't help). I've tried to unzip it but can't see the bios file that I need. Can anyone share the bios file for an Asus ROG G713QY-K4005T (SN: MANRKD03332840C), motherboard ref: G713-6050A3254002-MB-A01 (A1). Thanks
