    Hey guys ,

Need assistance with a Mac Pro 2010 5,1 single cpu , cpu tray .

Someone has managed to pull components off the bottom side of the cpu tray!!!

    1. CG410(missing)
    2. Q2400(TWN. Marking on it) , Q2450(TWN. Marking on it) (this marking does not correspond to any specific IC as far as I can tell , need help to identify!l )
    3. Q2120 (missing) ,
    4. R2444(missing)

Im attaching a couple of images of the section of the board they are on(I mean should be on , but a not there ).

Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15IAU7 that suffered water damage
      by Joel Ohana
      Hi,

I have a Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15IAU7 that suffered water damage. It doesn't turn on (white power light flashes when on button pressed), and the amber light flashes when plugged in.

      Symptoms:
      • Short detected – sparks appear when touching the charging port connection with board with a metal (even a multimeter probe).
      • Visible damage – after cleaning corrosion, I found 4 possibly burnt memory chips near PC3165, labeled UD5, UD6, UD7, and UD8.

What are my next steps to diagnose and possibly repair it without replacing the entire board? Any guidance would be greatly...

      optical drive tray loading problem
      by ChaosLegionnaire
i started using a couple of my optical drives again to perform some testing and backup but to my disappointment, they have tray loading problems. both drives wont eject the tray and when i load the tray back, it auto ejects the tray again. it seems that the laser sled assembly in the drives wont drop down fully to the correct position to release the tray and the laser sled assembly wont extend back up to the proper position to lock and load the tray so it auto ejects the tray again.

i tried lubricating the gears in the tray loading mechanism and the tray sled rails but it didnt...

A1466 Macbook Air (Liquid damage repair)
      by mon2
Hi. Recently serviced a damaged A1466 Macbook Air. Thought to post the issues and resolution for each.

Macbook AIR Model A1466 Diagnostic 09-01-2021

Issue: Liquid damaged (beer spill) Macbook AIR will not power up.

      Problems & Resolutions

      1) Attached Apple magsafe power adapter. No green / no orange light. This confirms the absence of the PP3V42_G3H voltage rail. The PP3V42_G3H rail is the primary voltage rail necessary to communicate with the magsafe power adapter to report the green or orange light status to the end user....
