Got a K7N2-L with bulging 1500uf 16V United Chemicons (KZG) Have quite a few of 1500uf 16V Nichicon PL but in the 12.5mm OD size. Decided to use those before buying some 10mm OD size ones, just in case the board had other problems that a cap fix wouldn't cure. Board does POST now, but not sure if Nichicon PL are low esr, as I cannot find any data sheets.

Take care United Chemicon caps are good caps. If they are bulging it is a strong indication that they have been stressed. This most often means the power supply caps are faulty. Check out the PS.Gigabyte EP45-DS3L Ultra Reliable (Power saver)
