HP Motherboard - BCU Tool access denied

Hi everyone, I replaced a customers HP desktop's motherboard, first time ever replacing the full motherboard.
After replacement, when booting up I get the message "Invalid or missing product information" etc, I'll include a picture. When entering the pc will just boot fine, but this doesn't look too professional towards the customer.

With the help of Google I found out I have to use the Bios Configuration Tool to re-tattoo the serial and such back onto the motherboard, but when I want to do so trough the CMD I get errors saying "access denied". Anyone any experience with this? Thanx in advance!

check if you have in Main tab "set machine unique data"

What main tab do you exactly mean?

Can I transfer the bios chip to solve this btw?

The OP hasn`t mentioned the model number.. ,we could check if there`s an Interactive BIOS simulator ,and post screenshots.

Can I transfer the bios chip to solve this btw?

If you transfered the bios chip then you would still have to tattoo it,also the ME firmware would need cleaning if its an Intel model.

Hi Jenzo - I have hte same Access Denied issue - how did you fix this please? I cannot even enable/disable MPM mode as each time it reports Error Code 6 - Access Denied

Hey, I'm very sorry but I can't really remember. I just kept messing around with it until it worked.
