    mother asrock h81m-vg4

    hi to everybody!!
i have a h81m-vg4 with 3 long beeps, and again and again
in theory is a defect of ram bank, but i test several ram with the same result
i check vram (1.5) and is correct, and w/o ram give same error
these model on include pci-e solt, i couldnt connect any port diagnostic card
i made a visula diagnostic and find d1 (near to solt ddr3-b1) blow. i check boardview ( i couldnt find shematics) and it seem to be a zener o similar proteccion diode form 5vstd to ground
    any clue??
    tx in advance

Ram slot error could be many possibilities. Like pins not good, etc...checking your way might not get anywhere..
Easiest is clean up ram slot

You are absolutely right it was in fact a zener diode .Take any zener diode from same 5v/3.3v rail of any mobo it will work just fine. Let us know any future updates about repair.
