    Msi 6600gt Pci-e , Lol Bad Caps

    I've found this in my local hardware forum :

    Seems that the yellow caps are bulg . The guy hs a generic 450W psu ...but 6600gt doesnt need "the power". No overclock .

    fuitsu caps. not with electrolyte though, polymer caps - we have had reports of those bad sometimes. has some nice rubycons on the card though.

      Fujitsu, not Fuitsu. These Fujitsu polymers are common on many boards. Bulging in the VRM section, they can cause problems. They usually don't cause problems elsewhere. (I have a Dell Dimension 8300 with 2 of these bulging in the IDE section, and it still is stable)

        Well , MSI has posted that they will fix o change any mobo/vga with bad caps...
        but only the ones sold in USA.

          That stinks, not going to fix anybody's MSI stuff with badcaps if not bought in USA.
