Ah I dreaded to hear it be one of the main chips because they use some really hard thermal application with the heatsink that I'm scared that I might rip it off, guess theres no more harm trying now. I can also only do reball since im not gonna spend another 20-40 for a BCM on Ali, I'll either reball and see if it works or keep it for spares until next switch comes in.
As for ES -> US, so you're saying I need a new BIOS chip from a US model and flash the dump from the ES onto it?
I might be wrong here since it was a while ago, I messed around with UAP-AC-PRO that also has the A12 error. I believe after just swapping the BIOS chip over from a working one, it started working with no issues but ofcourse has the MAC details from the previous one. So I think there is something into what you're saying and could be the goal to fixing this A12 issue (granted everything else on the board works).
P.S. I now have a working US-24-250W after replacing PSU from a donor switch if you ever need a dump from that.
