This monitor had a flashing green led, and no image. I replaced some caps in the power supply area as the other threads suggested and it is working now. But it seems like the contrast is off... The best way to describe it is that the darks are too dark. White shows up fine, and yellow looks good, but reds, blues and greens are darker, or really vivid. When viewing the Badcaps.net Forum banner on this page, the whole area looks black except for the white letters and the image is visible, but very dark. The area of lighter gray between the logo and the breadcrumb is black on the display.
I have tried resetting the monitor using the osd, and then adjusting the contrast, brightness, and color settings, but never get the grays to appear. Could this be something wrong on the main board, or maybe a loose connection?
