            Hello,
I have similar power board that is broken and i cant find schematic, so my question is can you tell me what voltages are you getting on that connector CN701(with 9 wires)?

And about your problem it looks like your backlight is not working because of 2 possible problems:

1)Maybe power board isnt giving power to backlight
            or
2)Your backlight is broken and you need to check it

Easiest is that you first check voltages on that small connector that is going from power board to lcd.

voltage on CN701 connectors are 0.09V(first PIN and others)

voltage on small connector that is going from power board to lcd is olso 0.09V and droping- rising

Did you solved the issues by changing the caps?
