Hi all,
got a Dell FP2001 for repair, but i am not sure if those cables are worth to thinker with.
The panel does have some vertical lines, which i can make to disappear by adding a little force to the FFC (the one glued directly to the panel and the panel controller).
I have dealt with those kind of cable in the past, trying to weld it back with a chisel tip and soldering iron. But this was always a gamble and i haven`t had much success with it.
So the question i have, is there a way do fix this in a professional manner, or is a panel replacement the only way to fix it?
If yes, may be i try to find a professional service for this task locally, otherwise i return or trash it.
