Xerox xa7-19i - Stopped Working - Will Not Power On

    I have a Xerox xa7-19i Model: 900p, manufactured 2005.

It had a history of flickering but that went away when upper right corner was pressed down.

Last while it was very bad to start from cold and only did so with muliple presses of power switch over a good number of minutes. Got into habit of simple never turning it off.

Now it has chosen not to power up at all.
Points of note are blue power light barely lights and blinks. Monitor has a clicking or ticking noise from the boards.
When opened, there was yellow carbon stains so i am assuming it ran hot for a while. Board has writen on it
    860-AB0-190DTL1-A
    AD-190DTL1
    J22-001 D
    5114844

100uf 400v 105°C 18x32mm capacitor brown, was replaced as one leg was physically disconnected.
Monitor still does not start up. C10 & C11 according to a capacitance tester are good. The rectifier tests out as good. 3 fuses all work.

Should I just go and replace all the capacitors on the board?
Or is the ticking indicative of it being junk.

Is that picture of the big cap before or after replacing? Because it looks like it got so hot that the sleeve started to shrink on it.

Did you check for cracked joints?

Are you getting voltage to the primary cap?

Sorry for slow reply, has assumed auto subscribe to created threads. Also world most annoying internet with 100's of disconnects a day and 384kbps aint helping maters either.

primary cap?? which one is that?

Picture is from original capacitor and it must have got hot/bad as one leg was disconnected from body.

      C10 & C11 220uf 25v I think are actually no good, one has a loose leg.

some of the zener diodes are off. 2 of the small surface ones are leaking back 1.18 (zd207) or just reading 0.010 (d201) but not sure if that is due to being tested still attached.

It's the very large capacitor on the power supply board.

I would also run my iron over all of the main solder joints and add new solder if the joints are cold.
