I don't have the motherboard's original BIOS file; it came to me having already been tampered with. I need a file extracted from the Asus website that is confirmed to be the original and fully functional.

Hi all.
I'm looking for a BIOS file for an Asus N550JK.
I have a Asus R552J, which I believe is identical to the Asus N550JK.
I downloaded the latest BIOS (210) for the R552.
It is named N550JKAS.210.
The BIOS file is however only 6mb in size.
I've read the chip with a CH341A programmer and verified the file.
That file is actually 8mb in size.
I'm wanting to remove the BIOS password from this unit.
It prompts you to input the password when turned on, so its sort of behaving like a power on password rather than... -

I need help with my Acer Aspire 5920G laptop. Its original GeForce 8600M GT graphics card failed, so I replaced it with an Nvidia GeForce 9600M GT MXM card.
**Problem:** The laptop powers on, but there is no display (black screen) on either the internal LCD or external monitor. This indicates a BIOS compatibility issue with the new graphics card.
**What I have tried so far:**

I wanted to share my experience fixing the BIOS on an Asus FA608UH laptop. Hopefully, this information and the attached dumps will save someone else a lot of time.
Laptop Specifications:- Model: Asus FA608UH
- Motherboard Platform: Quanta JW1 (DANJWIMBAA0 REV:A)
The laptop came to me from another repair shop. They had flashed a clean dump from the official website but forgot to prepare it or transfer the original DMI block. As a result, all the original factory data was completely lost, and they didn't backup the original corrupted BIOS file either....
