    hello,
thank you for your help and all your contributions.
    i made some new tests...
lowering the resolution of the screen from 1024x780 to 800x600 suppressed all the instability; the screen remains lighted and didn't blint...
putting a coin on the gnzan1 chip for acting like a radiator made the saving energy process (color amber of the power indicator led) is happening less frequently....
so i supposed that all the difficulties came fom the operating conditions.
but i have allways a default ; i don't see the osd screen and the error message when the vga cable is disconnected...
    thank you for all

      hello,
as i said yesterday i can confirm that if i adjust the parameters of the graphic board for this flatron monitor to : resolution 800x600, frequency :56hz there are almost no cut off of the light on the screen; and the gmzan1 processor warms very less.
i also noticed that changing of pc with this time an nvdia graphic board rather than an amd/ati now i haven't no more cutt off of the display and no amber color of the power indicator led. Probably that was a matter of power options of the pc.
Now i will look why i am not displaying the desktop of the pc on this screen.
Once more thank you for all.

If the input signal is VGA, try changing the VGA cable.

It could be such an old monitor got upset by bad video signal.

          hello,
          thank you for your answer...
the vga cable works fine with other display and pc...
i am waiting for a cooling radiator that i could stuck on the gnzan1 chip...and we will see.
i have also ordered the controler kit in order to dispel any doubt about the quality of working of the screen itself. (a new screen that's relatively expensive!!!).
          thank you for all.

Changing resolution to lower one, it cause less generated heat in processor, but also less current consumption, or involving less running signals to operate, so your conclusion to do a better cooling is maybe a unclear step. I have one monitor that work in bios / boot time / dos, but blinking in graphics. The fault is a small caps on controler board which control some signal, not even power rail... I found faulty one also by changeing temperature while measuring point which fluctating. You can see in video https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=aPAeZWeJ-nw

              Hello,
Thank you a t Harp for his answer.
i examined severa times the main controler board; and nothing strange appeared...all the signals and power rails are ok...
Perhaps it's a matter with the inverter board because tle coils l1 l2 of the filters are very hot.
              waiting for new ideas.

Hisense 50" 50A6KV VIDAA TV Washed Out White Screen Problem
                by tech9pc
Hisense 50" 50A6KV VIDAA TV Washed Out White Screen Problem. 2025 Model only about 1yr old. Puzzling because everything works except whited out screen barely visible picture. Screen is not cracked. Any ideas / suggestions? Would this be a all in one mainboard problem or is the screen failed. When on can barely see the image on screen, connects to WiFi and everything. Took back off and mainboard looks clean and new, reseated cables. Tried resetting the system to factory and it is the latest update May 2026. I researched this model online and apparently in the last 12 months about 2 out of...

                White screen repairs
                by harp
To ask here... I have few devices with white screen problem, actualy nokia 2220 and some fuji? camera, and try to understand what is common problem to cause that issue.
Yes, both devices work everything else probably ok, I mean, I hear intro melody and keypress click sound, DTMF tone, power on off... all ok.
On desk is nokia 2220 slide, and I check all screen connectors and components arround it, measure voltage drop, but all looks ok. I suspect on slide flex cable, but it look ok and white screen is not interupt while flexing board, pushing conectors, and sliding up down. In attachment...

TCL 55-Inch TV No Picture, Only White Screen After Ribbon Cable Test
                by usmantemuri
                I have a 55-inch TCL TV with a T-Con board model ST5461D04-1-C-7.

I saw on the internet that if one of the panel ribbon cables is disconnected, the TV may display half of the screen. However, in my case, when I disconnect either ribbon cable, that side of the screen turns completely white. The same thing happens on the other side as well.

There is no picture at all—only a white screen appears when either ribbon cable is removed.

                ...

Macbook 2017 with touchbar (A1706) won't turn on after removing the screen
                by Ryan.man
Hello everybody! Posting this in hopes somebody has some expertise that leads to a clear path of troubleshooting that saves me a lot of time!

My macbook has the flex cable problem, the one that prevents the screen turning on. Ive been dealing with this for the last 3 years. Last year it went dead and I managed to fix it following youtube tutorials. But my fix wasnt the best, the problem returned a month later. This week, it went dead again. I again tried to fix it.

This time the original cable broke too close to the screen, it can't be fixed without tearing the screen...

HannStar Hanns-G HC194d LCD monitor repair
                by momaka
Normally, I never post repairs this quick after I do them, because… I am usually very slow. But today, I’m making an exception here. Why? No idea. Perhaps only because the repair details are still “fresh” in my head… which is ironic, given this is a 16 year old monitor that hardly anyone will care about today. It is new to me, though. I picked it up last November from someone on my local Craigslist. It wasn’t very close to where I live, but was close to a family friend that I had to go visit anyways. So after watching the posting on Craigslist for a few weeks and seeing it getting...
