Happy New Year To All!
This clean Dell U4320Qt monitor has no LEDs or screen when plugged in. I didn't feel any vibrations or noise either.
My guess is something with the Power Board but as a noob, not sure.
Upon close and careful glance at both the Power and the Controller board, no obvious faulty components or marks.
I have not yet inject any power to the power board but when I plugged its power cord as normally done, no overheating components detected on thermal camera.
I tried searching for this model here and online but no schematics I could find.
Oddly enough this model seems slightly different than all the other similar models using different part number for their boards.
I'd appreciate if anyone could help me on how to go about troubleshooting.
I have gone thru the power board and check the common components for shorts and didn't detect anything.
On the Controller (Interface) board, 2 Diodes near each other showing .006/.007 Volts both ways when using Diode mode on the MM. (last photo numbered 08)
That is the only odd thing I noticed but not sure if these are like Zener or some other type and readings are normal?
TIA!
