    acer x223hq monitor turning off/on

i have an acer x223hq lcd monitor wich is shutting down after some time, then turning on again. when shutting down the 5v for the mainboard is going to 0v.

i could'nt find any bad components. i changed the 'vcc capacitor' for the Power IC, but that didn`t help.

    anyone can help?

Post some good overhead photos of the power and main boards. Sounds like a heat related problem. With the monitor working, I suggest you heat up the power supply and mainboard with a hair dryer until the monitor turns off. Once you identify which board is causing the problem, repeat the heating process over various parts of that board to try and isolate the area of the board that's causing the problem.
