I bought one of these split screen generator and it works perfectly for how I am wanting to use it when I get the computers setup with the battery testing machine I will take a picture of the monitor screen

The one I bought does not come with the remote but I going to buy another one and this time I will make sure that it comes with the remote

To switch between screens instead of going up to the device but I also want another one for the other computer cart that I have as well and that one I do not need the remote for

Sam, This is possible via the hardware route where you take identical monitors and pry open the LCDs and remove the backlight and filter from one of the monitors leaving only the LCD layer and then disassemble the other monitor and insert the bare LCD from first monitor into second. You will need quite a bit of skillset to be able to do that.

However when I read your original usecase, you can go software route of using HTML and javascript to show the twobattery monitors without disturbing any of the screens and doing delicate maneuvering of hardware approach. This way the look and feel can also be customized and you can scale up to even multiple different chargers.

Exactly how do you do this by software route and how would you hook it up to be able to use it

You seem to have already solved this, but how about two HDMI/USB video capture cards ? Then open two capture windows on the target machine/display ?

Sam, There are multiple ways to do this - depends on your interfaces and what role those computers play on the battery testers, and the software capabilities... there is a software called Nagios, using which you would write your own scripts and capture the data from each of these computers, and then collate them to represent it on a dashboard..

you may be able to take use of Copilot using which you can screen scrape the data from the computers and populate a table and then display them on screen...

these are not the only two ways as there are multiple ways of doing this.. to start with read these approaches and see if they can help you.. honestly if its just battery monitoring some bms support data via snmp..

Normally, I never post repairs this quick after I do them, because… I am usually very slow. But today, I’m making an exception here. Why? No idea. Perhaps only because the repair details are still “fresh” in my head… which is ironic, given this is a 16 year old monitor that hardly anyone will care about today. It is new to me, though. I picked it up last November from someone on my local Craigslist. It wasn’t very close to where I live, but was close to a family friend that I had to go visit anyways. So after watching the posting on Craigslist for a few weeks and seeing it getting...

                    Hi Everyone

Lately I am experiencing the deja-vu incident on one of the led monitor like this.
                    https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...lashing-on-off

The monitor is HP 27es LED Monitor

The monitor will randomly blackout and display no signal and will recover again.
Sometimes need to power and off again to restore the display but...

LG 23MP55HQ LED Monitor turns off after a few seconds or flickers.
                    by Rick_1234
                    Good evening, gentlemen.

I have a problem with my monitor. It turns off after a few seconds or flickers. Shining a flashlight on the screen doesn't show any image, so I guess it's not the "2 seconds to dark" I read in the forum.

To turn it back on, I have to press the power button twice. Then after a few seconds it turns off again or flickers. See video.

Wise Wing F199 19'' LCD monitor - recapped
                    by momaka
Looking through my repair pictures and notes, it's been a long time since I posted anything in the LCD monitors section. So here goes that.

I'm dedicating this thread to one of the very first LCD monitors I repaired (if not the first one), which was more than 10 years ago now. The monitor is a Wise Wing, model F199. It's a 19” CFL-backlit LCD. I got it for free off of Craigslist in 2009 from a guy, who said he bought it for cheap from Wallmart and the monitor worked only for a little less than 2 years before quitting.

When I saw the Craigslist post, I wasn't...
