    Asus VS278Q-P image issues

I have picked up this monitor, which has this weird issue on the screen.
I haven't opened it up yet, because I would like to get some opinions on this before I make my decision, on what to do with it.
I have picked it up from Ebay. The seller it was claiming that it doesn't turn on, and to my surprise, it works great, but has this issue.
Now if it's fixable, then I go ahead, but if you guys will tell me that is a panel issue, or something that is not fixable, then I will let the seller.
It happens on all inputs, 2x HDMI and VGA. If there is no video signal(blue screen), then I can't see those artifacts, so I'm thinking that it could be a cable not plugged in properly, or some main board issue.
    Here are some pictures:

No ideas what this could be, or what can I try to narrow down the problem?

It's probably a scaler chip problem, if you don't have another monitor with same panel interface the only method to know is to get another video board.
Anyway if you find Tarzan ask it to him...

I'm trying it on my laptop, but I will try it on my other PC too, to see if it works the same there too.
Right now, I have managed to adjust the Intel HD 4000 settings and the monitor setting and the artifacts are all gone.

probably means he changed the input resolution.
hopefully to the one native to the panel.

              Re: Asus VS278Q-P image issues

I have found a setting in the monitor, which fixed the problem. I have never heard of this setting before, Trace free. I have reduced it to minimum, and those artifacts are all gone.
              Not bad, for $57. 1ms, 27" LED, 2x HDMI+ VGA+Display port, speakers monitor.
              Thank you for your help.

Intermittent Power Issue on Asus X553MA – CPU Voltage Drops ftom 0.89V to 0V
                by bajdik
                Hello,
I have a problem with an Asus X553MA motherboard. Sometimes the system works fine, but other times the CPU voltage drops to 0V. In most cases, the laptop reboots after a few seconds due to the voltage drop.
Occasionally, it shows the ASUS logo or boots into the BIOS. Sometimes it can stay in the BIOS for hours without issue.
I checked the board with a thermal camera, but I couldn't find any overheating or leaking capacitors.
Unfortunately, I don’t have access to the schematic.
It seems to me that when I bend the board, something changes.
                Could this...

ASUS Zephyrus GA401I Severe Lag, Suspect Motherboard/Power Issue - Need Help Diagnosing
                by MakNCheese
                Hi everyone,

I'm having a serious issue with my ASUS Zephyrus GA401I (4 years old, worked perfectly until recently). The system is lagging heavily, even in the BIOS, and is charging extremely slowly (a few percent in hours), making it nearly unusable. I suspect a motherboard or power delivery issue.

                Symptoms:
                • Severe lag across the system, including BIOS navigation.
                • Slow boot times and unresponsive performance in Windows.
                • Battery charges very slowly (e.g., ~5% in 2–3 hours).
                • No error messages or BSODs, just extreme sluggishness.

                What I've Tried:
                • Replaced
                ...

                by ZixuTech
Hey guys, I got this model which stays black screen but CPU heats up. All voltages on board seems oK.
                Perhaps BIOS issue?

                Brand: Asus
                Model: F1502Z
                SN: R4N0CV11S622169
                Board: X1403ZA 2.2

I have flashed this BIOS for test purposes and it lights up the ASUS but blank SN. https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...21#post3593121

Can you clean and enter SN for me please....

Need real mobo dump of BIOS v402 for ASUS PRIME Z590-A - stock image no help
                by DynaxSC
                Hi,

I have a serious problem to program the Z590 chipset SRAM with a Management Engine after replacing the chipset.
The new chipset is factory new and is not containing any Management Engine. Any attempts to program it into the chipset under Windows ends with a failure (eg. Error 20: Management Engine Device not present, or something similar).
Due to the lack of the ME several ports on the board, including all M.2 ports aren't working, booting OS works only on USB. So it's now other way, as to program the chipset with a ME.

Usually on ASUS boards it worked...
