AOC 27 monitor Q27G2WG4 doesn't display logo or image on screen

Hello. I have a problem with my AOC 27 monitor, specifically model Q27G2WG4, which I have been using for 3 years. The monitor stopped turning on: when I turn it on, the backlight turns on, the indicator starts glowing white, but the logo on the screen does not appear, and there is no image. However, if I check in the Windows system, the monitor is displayed as connected and working. I tried connecting it via HDMI and DP, but the result remains the same. If I turn the monitor on and off multiple times, it will eventually start and work. However, when the monitor is working, there are no issues. I would be grateful for any help, perhaps someone has had a similar problem.

    Hi,

I see there are no responses yet to you post. I have the same kind of monitor (Q27G2U/BK with the same symptoms.
Backlight is working and sometimes when switching sources between HDMI ports or after power on it shows the AOC logo and will work fine with a video signal up to 1440p, until the input is interrupted and the problem comes back.
I've replaced the video board that connects to the TCON with a second hand one, which does not solve the problem. Hard to tell of course if the replacement is also broken.
The previous owner said it might be related to the cable between video board and TCON on the panel, as the screen would sometimes work when he wiggles the cable. I cannot seem to make it work that way.
I expect some component or over-current protection circuit is kicking in or there is a voltage too low somewhere on the power board perhaps.
Would be good if anyone would have a schematic / service guide for this monitor.
    The search goes on.

    Panel: TPM270WQ1
    video board: 715G9500-M0C-B00-005K
    Power board: 715GA907-P02-000-001S

The monitor seems to be the smaller version of CQ32G1 and equivalent to CQ27G1 regarding internal parts.

    regards,
    Doorzon

Hello, I have similar issue with a different model Q27G2U/BK.

I'm at my wits end here and the search does not provide any valuable info about how this issue can be nipped in the bud.

Only changing refresh rates back and forth multiple times helped bring the picture back but now any full-screen application causes the monitor to turn black, and switching refresh rates causes the same issue.

My only idea is that something is wrong with the Adaptive Sync implementation on the monitor or the T-CON board.

I think firmware reset could help in fixing the issue, at least I've found some obscure Russian forum where seemingly the same issue was fixed though re-installation of the firmware with an acquired dump - Forum Link.

Unfortunately they are not eager to provide firmware for free and lock the download links behind point system that requires you to pay or solve issues.

If anybody knows any way of resetting firmware on AOC monitors or has firmware dumps available - I'd greatly appreciate the info.

      Best regards!

Just in case it might help someone, I've found information that reballing DFU64H1 chip on the t-con might solve the issue.

The other option is replacing t-con entirely.

So it seems at the moment the only known steps are:

        1. Reinstalling firmware.
        2. Reballing DFU64H1 chip on the t-con.
        3. Replacing t-con entirely.

A2141 Screen replacement. Boots screen freezes on Apple Logo 1/3 status bar unless connected to second monitor.

          Having this very weird issue.
The owner of this laptop complained about screen being intermittent when opening and closing, and has been using the laptop on a thunderbolt video connection since the screen failed.

I swapped with a working screen from an A2141 waiting for parts.

The Os exhibits this weird behavior where it boots to to 1/3 the status bar, then it makes the boop sound. It's at the log in but for whatever reason the desktop isn't loaded.

The laptop boots fine into recovery mode. I updated from Monterey to Sonoma and the laptop still has...

Dell 34 inch U3419W Monitor with thin stripes on partial screen
          by ChristianBr01
          Hello everyone,
I have a Dell U3419W Monitor that has some thin stripes on a part of the screen since Tuesday.
This lines cover about a third of the screen and appear for 2 seconds before disappear for another 2 seconds.
This repeats the whole time. I have not opened the case yet cause I had no time, but will try to fix it on this weekend. For me, it looks like a problem on the TCon... Am I right?
Does someone have seen this before?...

AOC U34G3XM, new monitor, black screen with backlight on, possible shortcircuit during dissassembly
          by turmix
Hello, I'm working on a new deskmod pc project and have a problem with my monitor, an AOC U34G3XM, well, I may have bricked it.

The monitor was dismanteled and the separate parts parts integrated in the desk. the screen panel alone is on the upper part, and main board/video board + power board on the back of the desk (not enough place on the cover to fit it)
At first everything was working smoothly, then I decided to change the connexion between the video board and the screen for a longer one. Still working fine

During another reassembly, I made a mistake, and...

iphone XS turns off when press on screen.
          by smic717394
          Hi,

I have a iphone XS that came in for a screen replacement, the screen was badly cracked, and inside missing scues, on the back of the screen still the blue protector, the screen was a LCD. So we replaced the screen and all good, installed the screen and we noticed that pressing the screen with a bit of force but not excessive, the phone dies. After plugging the charger it turns back on, but again if you press it it dies. I open the phone again, and I can't see anything major, with the phone open, if I press on the logic board, battery, charging board, or even putting pressure on...
