Re: lg w1924s start button blibking for 15 minutes
First thing to do is to open up the unit and inspect the board for any caps with bulging tops.
Your board will be similar to this example:

Re: lg w1924s start button blibking for 15 minutes
from all 8 caps that i have only 1 is the same. For example. I have 1mF/450 and he gaved me 1mF/400. i have 470mF/25 he gave me 470/35. I have 22mF/50 he gave me 22/63. Is it something wrong with me that i think i should replace only with the same value or it is ok if i replace them with what he gave? Pls heeelp

Re: lg w1924s start button blibking for 15 minutes
You can go a voltage higher so they are good.
The Big cap would be better at 450v but 400v is acceptable.
If the big cap you have doesnt look bulged or leaky try without changing it as tron said. Please upload pictures using attachment function when ask for help on the repair

Re: lg w1924s start button blibking for 15 minutes
It seems like you did not properly seat the cable between the logic board and the LCD panel where the T-CON board is, or the T-CON board is dead, or the logic board is not sending the 5V (or 12V) to the T-CON board.Never stop learning

Re: lg w1924s start button blibking for 15 minutes
Could be a faulty screen - was it your monitor - did it work without lines before?
If so, take off the lvds cable mentioned by budm clean both ends (if a flat cable use an eraser) then replace. Please upload pictures using attachment function when ask for help on the repair

Re: lg w1924s start button blibking for 15 minutes
If you have cleaned the lvds - check any other cables are secure and try again
Have you got a PC connected - is the resolution correct?
Then I would put in the rest of the new caps- that will give a good base for any more testing. Please upload pictures using attachment function when ask for help on the repair

Unlikely, check the cable from the PC to the monitor is ok.
Do you get dots on White Yellow Blue Red Screens? Please upload pictures using attachment function when ask for help on the repair

Re: lg w1924s start button blibking for 15 minutes
those green dots are observed only when the monitor is in save energy mode or when not connectec to a pc. It has to be a black screen so i can see them. Once i connect the pc to it those dots are gone but the monitor goes like... one vertical line is coloured and one white. A line mean a vertical row of pixels from top un to bottom down. One line coloured and one white. The rest is ok. Resolution ok and all the buttons work.

Re: lg w1924s start button blibking for 15 minutes
If you have tried cleaning all the cables , do you have another monitor you can try on the pc or anther pc/laptop you can try this monitor on ? That will rule out a video card/processor problem. You may have damaged the panel taking the monitor apart causing the lines. I dont know what is causing the green spots. Please upload pictures using attachment function when ask for help on the repair
