I don't remember if I discussed this before.
When I got my cintiq two years ago it was fine aside from several lines of patterened horizontal pixels that were constantly garbled. Depending on the resolution the lines would get larger or smaller but they were always the same lines. The OSD was at the time immune to this.

As time progressed I gained more and more lines and soon I was seeing corruption in the OSD menus as well.
Finally it reached a point where after being pulled form storage it was unusable. The OSD was completely gone and the screen was useless.

I opened the unit up and found a couple of visually good KZE''s and an arrangement where DVI came into the system on one board, onto a paddleboard and then out to another board which was presumably the LCD controller and then out on four ribbon cables tot he screen.

Reseating on the ribbon cables did nothing. Pressing on the three major IC's did not change much either. Contact cleaner was equally a no go. The last thing I can think of is that even though it was not seeing use the LCD itself has died. Can anyone confirm this possibility?
