    Iiyama B2403WS - no display

Not in my hands at present but may be buying it soon.

Basically, it turns on, but doesn't display anything at all, from what I can gather. No attempt at lighting CCFLs.

Does this mean the PSU board is knacked? Has anyone worked on this monitor before and knows part #s?

I have a similar monitor, an Iiyama E1706S, and I'm wondering if they might use a similar PSU board.

Tl;dr - is it worth buying for £30?

Hi, It's hard to tell with that little information. If you say it's turning on, or at least you see a light from the start button, it may indicate a good primary side in PSU. However, you need to check the PSU output for any voltages.
Only then you can begun isolating the fault!
In a transistor circuit protected by a fuse, the transistor will always blow to protect the fuse.
