I have a dell LCD monitor model E152fpb. When I connect to power it starts blinking on and off. The back light comes on momentarily then goes off. Which components do I check? Any help will be appreciated.

Hey there smd. First things first open up the monitor and check the capacitors on the inverter/power board. Look for any bulging/leaking caps. That would probably be the first step. Also once you have the monitor open, get some pictures of it on here. One of the top and bottom of the Inverter/power boards. That way others may be able to spot problems that we would miss if we can't see what you're seeing. These monitors have a history of bad solder joints on the inverter transformers. When they fail, the driver transistors short, which can overload the power supply and result in the symptoms you see. As Demix indicated, bad caps can also cause this.

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.
Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.
I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.
The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.
With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

I'm trying to troubleshoot a Microsoft Surface Pro (5th gen) model 1796 that won't power on. Motherboard model is M1007506-015. My priority is retrieving data, but the SSD is integrated so it looks like if I can't repair it it'll need to go to a data recovery company. I've done a little basic board repair before, but nothing this advanced until now. So please forgive my ignorance in advance. 😅

i have DELL INSIPRON 14 5410 2-IN-1 blinking orange and white when charger connected, i tried to find Boardview or schematics but cannot find. i opened the unit and the motherboard model number is 203071-1 Watchmen that i found written on motherboard. Where should i start because when i press power on, nothing happens. but i checked the main power rails voltages are enabled and the charging for battery LDO is 3.3 volts.

Looking for some advice or opinions on what to do with a monitor issue I’ve run into. Apologies in advance is this crossovers a few forum categories.
I have a Dell U3425WE, which I've recently replaced with another model. That said, the original unit is still fully functional in terms of the display — it works perfectly over HDMI and DisplayPort. However, the USB-C and Thunderbolt 4 ports have stopped functioning correctly. I have no idea what I’m doing, but I’m learning by trial and error.
I’m currently working on a Dell Optiplex AIO 7490—one of a bunch of AIOs that mysteriously failed to POST just a few days after the warranty expired. The original issue was that the PC worked fine until it was rebooted, after which it got stuck on a black screen (no backlight), with fans spinning at normal speed and a solid white power LED.
