2DIN Android Radio YD7388 amp short in one output

    HI!
This 4 channel 2din radio has one of the outputs driving a cc voltage of 12v into the speaker coil burning it.
Replaced the Y7388 AMP IC and the same is happening.
I noted the 47k resistor when onboard has only 42k and a voltage appears higher than in the other channels.
My doubt is about the IC(U7) ZL3560 that looks it's driving the inputs of the amp, am i correct?
It's my first time with a problem like this and hope someone can give some help.
    Regards

My guess would have been the Y7388 AMP IC also. If you find something else that is damaging the Y7388 and you need to replace it again, there is a better chip that is pin compatible that you might want to use instead. I don't recall the part number, but if you do some searching, it's out there on xda IIRC.

      HI!
Thanks for your reply. i also tried a compatible TDA but that one didnt worked at all.
In this case i dont think the AMP IC is damaged, It looks that something before the AMP IC is giving the order to that DC voltage. It's because of that, i asked for IC(U7) ZL3560. Can it gives that simptom? Thanks!

There are also caps on the input of the amp to block DC, so maybe the cap on the affected channel failed. A lot of audio ICs normally have DC on their signal pins due to their circuit design.

Yes i tested that caps in the inputs but none seems to be faulty but i also didnt tried to replace them. Because i cant expend more time on this one for now, i did a shunt between the rear input that has the same info for stereo output and pulled out the capacitor of the faulty input. Now the Front Left outputs the same as front right and i put the fader in the center. For the purpose this serves as solution.

          Thanks for your help!

450watt power supply 5v, 3.3v short to ground wire,in output rail ,connectors
            by playit
hello everyone , working zebronics power suply 450 watts , 5v ,3.3v givin short to ground black wire, also in circuit at output, resistor was charred but shows right values , after removing resistors 39ohms, 51 ohms, there was no short , no continuity beeps with ground , but after replacing new resistors (now i am not switching it on) ,again short still exists . when i put bigger ohm resistor like 100k ohm , no short beeping sound comes , lower ohm resistor gives continuity beeps ,other big ones donest , as its a working psu , i am confused what to remove now or how to go further now .

Onkyo HT-R390 no sound output, video output ok
            by FrancescoV
            Good morning everyone,
I'm trying to repair an onkyo ht-r390 that has no sound output, despite the volume being at maximum, the rest seems to work; the video output signal (coming from an hdmi input) is present, but the audio is absent. Similar situation if I send an audio signal from any input I have no output.

The firmware reported is the following:
            M:1.00/11107BLP
            D:?.??/????????
            O:1.00/11107AL

The DSP firmware given the question marks seems corrupt.

On the BCHDM-0678 - 25140678 - QPWBCHDM0678A0 board the chip that usually seems...

APC Back-UPS Pro 900 Output short
            by arrgh
            Hi all,
I got this UPS from a friend that after a fault replaced it with a new one.
The UPS is an APC Back-UPS Pro 900 (BR900GI).
I've bought 2 new 12V 9Ah batteries to test it and when I connect the main 230V input, relays click to turn on the UPS, then I press the power on button, other relays clicks to turn on everything, the lcd flashes for a moment and then it immediately shutdowns (relays click to turn everything off).

So I've disassembled it and checked on the board for shorted components.
Attached 2 pics of the primary board and a secondary small...

            clock radio / radio lifespan?
            by shelby5041
            hi
ive got a modern digital clock radio approx 15yrs old

my question is how long can a clock radio or a simple radio last ss farcas operating hours?

since elec components have limited hour lifecspan i would imagine the radio or clock radio would eventually fail.

the reason i ask is because i have my clock radio on radio function 24/7 for the past 7 years and its still working fine....i leave the radio on ..never turn off past 7years...thats approx 60000 hours

it uses very little power just a few watts i would imagine that may have something...

Extreme High Current & Low Voltage Short Killer ??
            by DynaxSC
            Hi Folks

I'm looking for a extreme high current short killer solution for a reasonable cost.

I have an LGA1700 motherboard (ASUS PRIME Z790-P WiFi) where I exchanged the LGA socket already 3 times, and every time after the socket exchange I get a short of power supply lines VCORE (V variable) and VCCIN_AUX (1.8V).
After taking off the socket, the shorts dissappear again.
The soldermask on the socket is already partially demaged from the heat, so I have reconstructed the soldermask by manually painting the missing soldermask parts with a very small top of a...
