    HK AVR 247 doesn't turn on

    I need help with my Harman AVR 247 receiver.

    It shut down by itself one day. The sound volume just dropped and it shut off.

    The standby light is on (orange) power on and the power light goes blue, nothing on screen, and then after 10 seconds or so shuts off to orange standby.

    I found youtube video mentioning to replace a few caps near power supply. That didn't help. I replaced them. No change and they weren't bad except for one.

    I was wondering if anybody has immediate knowledge on this type issue and repair for this model. I realize this thing is old and I should just junk it.

    Also I can't read service manual and trace power etc. I an buy caps and replace them.

      Hi guys, I’m back here my friend give me her tv, that doesn’t turn on and no standby red led. When u plug in the cord the red led of one two second is on, then turn off. If you push the power button or the remote the red led blinks but nothing happen. I give u some photo with voltage, don’t look the fuse….because I blow it for mistake nd I dint have the right replace so I just put it for test the tv.       I have a Macbook A1466 820-00165 which has come with erratic issues. it reboots. Trackpad doesnt work. Doesnt Turn on etc.

      Upon inspection
      Corrosion at the Trackpad - changed that to check.
      Some Keys including Power Key and Arrow Keys dont work on the keyboard.
      Wifi Stick Corroded - Changed to Check..

      Corrosion under U3540. Removed and Reballed.

      Now
      The Macbook turns on when plugged to the charger but if we shut it down, it wont turn on when charger connected. Have to remove and install the battery....

      Hello, i have some issues with my laptop Lenovo Y700-17ISK (motherboard BY511 NM-A541), it started when i turn on the laptop, but the lcd wont turn on, i then connected it via hdmi to tv and screen was ok. So i thought maybe lcd stripe is faulty, i removed the bottom cover, disconnected main battery, reset the cmos by disconnecting battery for 1 min, then slighty move the lcd stripe.       Hello, Badcaps is my last resort. I am the first owner of the monitor. I reached almost every repair store in my area, but no one even wanted to hear about troubleshooting an old CRT monitor. At this point, I have been trying to figure it out by myself, but I have no idea where to start or look for.

      Samsung LN32B540 - won’t turn on but gets standby power

      My Samsung LN32B540 never turned back on after I had to turn off the power at the mains at house. It won't turn on, but the red standby led lights up when it is plugged in. If I hold down the power on the remote, the standby light turns off which I think means it is trying to turn on, but there's no sound or backlight. If I try to turn it on/off from the power button on the TV instead, it doesn't do anything at all.

      It was plugged into a surge suppressor and was off (on standby) when I turned off the power,, so I don't know if it got a power surge or was on its way out anyway. I...
