    Denon AVR-1705 no sound

    Hi. I have Denon AVR1705, without sound on output terminas and no sound on headphone. I check all voltages and they are normal. +1.2V and +3.3V also normal.
    This amp is with Sound Processor build with Mode/Input selector BD3811K1 and i thing the problem is may be on this chip. Do you know some solution on this problem.

      I have an AVR-3200 that plays "dead" until I crank the volume up to about at least -20 dB. After that, it will start playing sound. Not sure how similar your amp is internally, but give this a try anyways: crank the volume all the way up while playing something, then turn it down.

          As a foreword I'm relatively novice with component level audio gear repair. My amplifier stopped producing sound and I currently have no funds to buy a new one so I need any help to repair it. I know "no sound" is one of the most common problem but there were other symptoms so some of you seasoned repairman might able to pinpoint the stuff I have to check. I did download the service manual from manualslib the "no sound checklist" is a bit intimidating.

          So i bought it working. First symptom: speaker protection relays on the audio board were clicking...

          Hi,
          Have a Macbook A2179 with liquid damage. Customer showed it some shop which has done an ultrasonic cleaning of the board.
          The board pulls 0V but doesnt turn on. No Fan SPIN. NOT IN DFU.

          I checked the Power Sequences below and found this -


          Once a valid external power source (Charger or battery) is connected, the following rails will come online.
          PPBUS_G3H: Normal voltage is ~12.6v on the charger with the battery disconnected. Produced from the ISL9240 (U7000, which uses PPDCIN_G3H as its VIN.

          Hi, I have a Denon AVR-X3600H I'm trying to repair. I have no electronics repair experience but I have a multimeter, service manual and a will to fix it (https://device.report/m/d5de8c00e617...f63147aba9.pdf)

          Everything seems to work except for no sound even through the pre outs. However I will get sound using Zone 2 pre outs.

          Only digital symptom I can tell is it will soft lock when in the Speakers/Test Tone menu and be unable to adjust +/- db during the test tone.

          I've followed the trouble shooting guide, audio check...
