see what voltage each side of r411
    also r447 r449 .
negative voltage is getting lost ..
it could be swamped with positive voltage or simply missing .

      On B/E Q407 I have 12.4V
When you are saying you have B/E of 12V or what ever, do you have one probe on the Base and another on the Emitter? When we are talking about B/E Voltage reading we referring to the Voltage taking between the two legs (B and E) of the Transistor to verify the Junction Voltage reading, you must clarify what you are are providing in you DATA.

Ok, sorry. My measure are Ground to Base/Emiter. I will measure like you want, this night. Today what i do...
I remove main transistors 2n3055/2mj2930, also Q409 (bd139), also i remove and Q413/Q411. Turn on amp (from 100 watts lamp - no lights) and the problem was same. But when i turn off the amp from AC, after 25-30 min, i have 9-10 volts on left chanell (terminals)

I do not know if you understand how Transistor works or not or what to expect as far as the Voltage of the Transistor junction should be. If you use circuit GND as the ref. for your meter, the Voltage reading on the Base and the Voltage reading on the Emitter should not be the same, you should look up how Transistor is biased.

450watt power supply 5v, 3.3v short to ground wire,in output rail ,connectors
            by playit
hello everyone , working zebronics power suply 450 watts , 5v ,3.3v givin short to ground black wire, also in circuit at output, resistor was charred but shows right values , after removing resistors 39ohms, 51 ohms, there was no short , no continuity beeps with ground , but after replacing new resistors (now i am not switching it on) ,again short still exists . when i put bigger ohm resistor like 100k ohm , no short beeping sound comes , lower ohm resistor gives continuity beeps ,other big ones donest , as its a working psu , i am confused what to remove now or how to go further now .

Onkyo HT-R390 no sound output, video output ok
            by FrancescoV
            Good morning everyone,
I'm trying to repair an onkyo ht-r390 that has no sound output, despite the volume being at maximum, the rest seems to work; the video output signal (coming from an hdmi input) is present, but the audio is absent. Similar situation if I send an audio signal from any input I have no output.

The firmware reported is the following:
            M:1.00/11107BLP
            D:?.??/????????
            O:1.00/11107AL

The DSP firmware given the question marks seems corrupt.

On the BCHDM-0678 - 25140678 - QPWBCHDM0678A0 board the chip that usually seems...

APC Back-UPS Pro 900 Output short
            by arrgh
            Hi all,
I got this UPS from a friend that after a fault replaced it with a new one.
The UPS is an APC Back-UPS Pro 900 (BR900GI).
I've bought 2 new 12V 9Ah batteries to test it and when I connect the main 230V input, relays click to turn on the UPS, then I press the power on button, other relays clicks to turn on everything, the lcd flashes for a moment and then it immediately shutdowns (relays click to turn everything off).

So I've disassembled it and checked on the board for shorted components.
Attached 2 pics of the primary board and a secondary small...

Extreme High Current & Low Voltage Short Killer ??
            by DynaxSC
            Hi Folks

I'm looking for a extreme high current short killer solution for a reasonable cost.

I have an LGA1700 motherboard (ASUS PRIME Z790-P WiFi) where I exchanged the LGA socket already 3 times, and every time after the socket exchange I get a short of power supply lines VCORE (V variable) and VCCIN_AUX (1.8V).
After taking off the socket, the shorts dissappear again.
The soldermask on the socket is already partially demaged from the heat, so I have reconstructed the soldermask by manually painting the missing soldermask parts with a very small top of a...

KDM 480W PSU upgrade succes! (opinions?)
            by bauto601
Back in 2020 i bought a (2nd hand) compact ATX psu to replace my current one. My PC case only fits very short ATX power supplies so i didn't really have the choice of buying a decent 80Plus unit. The current unit is a modded YoungYear unit that i made a thread about a while ago:
A "nice" YoungYear unit? - Badcaps

The "new" unit is a KDM-M6480 480W psu, the 480W number is a typical KDM bullshit claim of course, but the 24A rating on the 12V rail seemed reasonable and the "Active PFC" claim gave me a bit of hope that this was going to be decent-ish....
