            Dood,
            A heads up on the Marantz.

            Sees the 'stereo pilot lamp' used on those things is something special.
            As in very low current.

            People who sub in standard bulbs end up trashing the discrim chip in the receiver.

            Got turned onto this issue from a DIY Audio bbs.

            So show a care if you need to change that lamp.

            I use a similar radio to keep the dogs quiet at the apartment.
            We play the stereo to raise the backround sound, that way they don't bark at every little thing while the wife and I are out.

            The old Marantz is just the ticket. For about the last four years it gets 10 hours a day of run time. It don't fail.
