    pure dmx60

    Hi I just got given a pure dmx60 with no power and was wondering if anyone else has had problems with this make of stereo ive checked the main fuse and the fuse near the transformer and there ok but its not getting any voltage to the glass fuse near the transformer any one got any ideas where to start?

    post a foto of the other side of the board so i can see the tracks.

        no, it's really bad.

        but it looks like the top of the relay is cracked.
        and you should make sure you dont mix up the connectors.
        it looks like the one near the fuse is the input,
        and the one to the left of it is the output that is switched with the relay.
        get them the wrong way around and it wont run.

          I replaced the original capacitor (2200uf 25v) with a 2200uf 40v and now when plugged in you can hear the stereo trying to start (like a click noise) but nothing else happens could it be a different problem for example with the toroidal transformer?

            That looks like the standby voltage board only. I suspect problems elseware, main power supply or output section.
