    wireless frequency change...

I picked up 2 wireless units for guitar at a thrift store for next to nothing, problem is the wireless receiver pack frequency's dont match with the base.
    same brands and model though.
A friend said the only option is to change crystals.
Is this even possible? If so has anyone here have any experience doing something like this that could put me in the right direction?
    Thanks!

    E,
That is one rough avatar you have.

Anyhow, to answer your questions...'it depends'.

If your units are in the 700mhz band, they are a write off.
    Don't even try.

Some wireless gear are syntho and some are xtal based.

At this point, what is needed is pictures.
Detail on the various stickers saying what frequency and product type.

Share a thought when you can.

bummer, the unit is 742.70MHz and is an ATW-R14. So I take it they are trash?
Only paid $5 for the pair. The problem is the frequency to the packs dont match the base.
      Thanks for the reply.
