    Cap selection for NAD amp

The NAD C320BEE re-cap is progressing. I pulled the power supply board and removed all caps.

I was thinking of buying some off the big auction site but thats kind of a gamble and I need the lowest cost option. There's some Rubycon CE 105c 15000uf 50v on the bay from a reputable supplier item number is 360296451357. These are the only one's I found with a 33mm diameter which would be great since the ones that came with this amp were right up against some heatsinks.

Is mixing cap manufacturers on the power supply board not recommended? If so, should I use Panasonic FC or something else?

Please just buy from reputable sources - RS/Mouser/Digikey.

    I have some 15000uf 50v Panasonic caps. ECO-S1HA153EA I believe.

the only reliable ebay cap sellers i know of are audjade_chn and the PCMCS (PC Motherboard Capacitor Store).

      http://stores.ebay.com/AudJade-component-shoppe
      http://stores.ebay.com/PC-MotherBoard-Capacitors-Store

otherwise.. yeah.. RS/Digikey/Mouser if you want to make sure you get the real thing.

edit: or ask big pope for Samxons

NAD C320BEE repair possibly bad capacitors
          by Alfieh
hey Im very new to repairing electronics with capacitors as well as using a multimeter so I need so help/guidance fixing this issue

recently I was handed a family members old NAD C320BEE that they had in their loft for storage for a few years but when powered on it went into power safety mode due to a problem on the protection circuit somewhere before it went into storage I was told it worked fine I found lots of people online talking about how the capasitors are known to be pretty bad in this model and can cause this issue the only problem being I don't have much experience sorting...

          Huawei D14 - DAH98AMBAD0 Rev.D - Laptop not Charging - Missing 137K on IADPT - Inductance Selection - BQ25713 Charging IC
          by reessi
          Hello:

On the above laptop which wasn't charging I found only a tiny drop of water damage exactly on a few components by the BQ25713 Charging chip.. Bizarre how only that one 3mm square for it but it did..

I looked up the BQ25713 datasheet and replaced the 10K pull up resistor on the CHRG_OK line and now it charges!

But on the IADPT line which seams to be a resistor (137K) to tell the chip which Inductor is in use it is corroded also.. (Inductance Detection Through IADPT Pin - from datasheet).

So my question is what are the implications of leaving...

IBM NetVista Pentium III - USI Motherboard w/ Teapo SC
          by iMic
          Hi folks,

I have a couple of IBM NetVista desktop computers from around 2000-2001. They have Universal Scientific Industrial (USI) Pro286i motherboards, 733MHz Pentium III processors, and a whole bunch of bad Teapo capacitors. One board has visibly bad and venting capacitors, while the other doesn't look too bad so far.

The board with venting caps works fine, while the good looking board occasionally refuses to power on unless it's left for about 30 seconds after connecting the power - even with a known good power supply. (I am however aware I'll need to check the PSU...

Part selection for possible blown inductor on ASUS GX531-GW-AB76 laptop mobo
          by swerg
          Hey everyone,

I'm a novice trying to repair my laptop. The LCD screen has an image, but no LED backlight for the image. It also produces an image when connected to an external monitor.
I have found what I believe to be a blown inductor labeled "L4502" and "120 Ohm" in the schematics (zoomed in image, blue arrow to blown component). I have included an image of the general area of the mobo and an excerpt from the schematics as well.
I am having trouble selecting a replacement component, which I believe to be a 120 Ohm ferrite bead, from the components...
