SealSunny battery M150 ( only ) load testing machine review

I recently bought this at full price I am getting paid for this was not free (Lithium Lead-acid Battery Capacity Tester 30V 20A 150W Discharge Battery Tester)

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/38444852660...53.m2749.l2649

    MD150 discharge tester parameters

    Model MD150 discharge voltage 0-30V

Discharge power 150W, discharge current 0.1-20A freely set

Equipment power supply: DC12V/2A, operation mode, discharge manual switch

Error 1% heat dissipation temperature controlled fan (maximum noise about 60dB)

Note that the positive and negative poles are not allowed to be reversed

Discharge mode constant voltage, constant current, constant power, constant resistance, dynamic load test

    Size 15.3*14*9.6*13.2cm

    Display parameter charging: voltage/current

Discharge: measured voltage / cut-off voltage / initial voltage / average voltage measured current / set current / capacity / power / temperature / power / internal resistance running time / discharge curve Software required which does not come with it )

It has one nice feature it has temperature cutoff control this is a plus when you want to torcher test a battery pack and want to if can handle it

It can load test up to 20 amp depending on voltage input

You can also adjust the current on the fly as well

I have only briefly tested it so far

When I get more experience with using it I will add more comments to this post

Well this battery tester has one big issue with computer interface and it use Lab-Veiw and it expensive to buy the product key over $500.00 which is not worth the money for what this device would use to work

Very disappointing to find out but it is what it is but I might have a solution for this issue but I have to take this battery tester apart and see if I can modify it to be used with the other battery testing machine

I have to look into this when I have some time maybe the Memorial Day weekend because I will be off work for three days

      what product-key? labview?

i think there are alternatives that use the same driver/interface

Do you have any idea what that would be

Testing ATX PSUs under load - Does loading the ATX 24 pin also load EPS & PCIE?
          by AJ847.63e
          Hi Folks,

Just wanted to clear up a misunderstanding of mine (or what I expect is one). Isn't the 12V rail from the 24 pin, EPS and PCIE separated? IE if I put a power resistor on the ATX 12V pin that is not going to load, thus tell me if the EPS or PCIE rails are fine?

I was recently watching ArIs from Hardware Busters video on how to properly test ATX PSUs without using 5 figure Croma substations.

The PCB adapter he used breaks out the 12, 5 and 3.3V pins from the 24 pin and gives you banana plugs to connect to. That is a bit useless is it not? Aren't...

Fisher and Paykel 10 kg top-load washing machine LED identification
          by mojos911
          Hello everyone,

I'm looking for a replacement for the red LEDs used in a Fisher & Paykel 10 kg top-load washing machine. Each LED is about 6 mm long, mounts flush to the PCB with side tabs, and measures around 1.7 V forward voltage in diode-test mode. The marking on the body is “3A56,” but I can't find any matches for that in part searches. I've attached photos to show the shape and mounting style.

If anyone has sourced an equivalent or knows a suitable replacement, I'd really appreciate your input. Thanks in advance for the help!...

          Washing machine load limitation
          by ErciaR
if a washing machine is said to be 6.5 Kg, what does it mean? Does it mean cloth load+ water or just cloth load. I'm asking this due to personal issue.. My washing machine max load is 6.5 Kg. When I try to wash my blanket, it weighs a lot when water is added (More than 6.5Kg) . Is it okay to wash such load on this machine machine?

EBC-X 8-Channels 18650 Battery Capacity Tester Charge & Discharge 10A Aging Test Modificatio
          by sam_sam_sam
This is another battery testing machine that needs to be modified for the cooling fans because these are noisy but not as bad as one of the other battery testing machines that I had modified recently because of it being too noisy

The battery testing machine is going to get two temperatures controlled cooling fans like one I put in the other battery testing machine I just have to remove the temperature sensor and relocate the temperature sensor to one of the heat sinks and put one on the other heat sink so the fan speed can be controlled by temperature

          Capacitor Discharge Rate Testing!
          by shagster
Hi, I have 2 identical capacitors from an old scope I'm trying to get running.

Both caps measure ok in ESR and Capacitance values imo.
Data sheet says tolerance spec is -10 +50%. And these are way under that.
Both of there original values are marked as (430uf 200vdc).
After ~40 years, they now measure 485uf and 465uf. Well under the +50% tol.

Anyway I charged them up to 24 volts dc and discharged them slowly down to 10 volts using a Digital Multi Meter. Funny thing was one of them just took over 4 minutes to discharge down to 10 volts. And the...
