CCFL TV high-voltage wire - how to attach connectors

See attached image showing a CCFL wire coming from main board. The wire is ~20 inches long, and has wide-connectors at both tips.

As you can see, there's "light"/fire/heat on the wire while the TV is on.. so, need to replace that wire.

I can't seem to find the exact wire, so is there a relatively easy way to just get the WIRES and somehow hook them to the existing connectors? any guide on that? The wires I got are 3KV rated, and seem good quality, just not sure how to attach connectors to them... any tips welcomed.

    Stormy.

I ordered some wire and connectors from CCFL warehouse a couple years ago, they're still in business.

    See: http://www.ccflwarehouse.com/hivowiandha.html
Stupidity should be a crime, especially for drivers. I have NO patience for them.

Thanks much!!! Can anyone confirm the exact name/specs of this connector? hopefully I can find the exact (male side) so no modifications are needed to the board.

450watt power supply 5v, 3.3v short to ground wire,in output rail ,connectors
        by playit
hello everyone , working zebronics power suply 450 watts , 5v ,3.3v givin short to ground black wire, also in circuit at output, resistor was charred but shows right values , after removing resistors 39ohms, 51 ohms, there was no short , no continuity beeps with ground , but after replacing new resistors (now i am not switching it on) ,again short still exists . when i put bigger ohm resistor like 100k ohm , no short beeping sound comes , lower ohm resistor gives continuity beeps ,other big ones donest , as its a working psu , i am confused what to remove now or how to go further now .

HANNSG Hi221 -- 2 secs to black feat. CCFL flicker & "burn" marks on power board
        by ttmi100x
        Greetings everyone,

I have a HANNSG Hi221 monitor that exhibits two seconds to black issues (backlight goes off, display is still on as confirmed by shining a flashlight on it) with some additional oddities...

The monitor failed on me with a standard "2 seconds to black" some time ago prompting me to initially replace most of the electrolytic capacitors (some of them were bulging/leaking).
Things kinda sorta worked for a night, then the problem returned along with some flickering and "buzzing" noises.

        Upon closer inspection...

LG Flatron L1953TR : CCFL connectors confusion ( forgot to take a photo before disassembling )
        by Ancient1
I forgot to take a photo and now I am not sure how to reconnect
As you can see , I have 2 pairs , each pair has 2 colored wires : the black_ish connector and blue_ish connector
There must be a convention to help decide , I assume

        How do I reassemble ?

        Thanks

New wire for my RDE3340 Whirlpool electric range
        by wnlewis
OK. I got the rocker switch figured out thanks to the good advice on this forum.

Now I need to figure out the correct wire to go to the switch from the broiler element and from the oven element.

This is a Whirlpool RDE3340 electric range.

The common wire on the switch appears to have a high temperature insulating material. I am guessing that both the wire to the broiler and the wire to the oven elements also need relatively high temperature insulation. What do I need to look for? The broiler is rated at about 2400 watts.

        Where may I find parts...

Help on Samsung Syncmaster T220 dead ccfl lamp
        by mikey5791
        Hi,

This monitor previously is my main working monitor which i have been using for 8~9 years. Yesterday, when i switched on my pc from fresh to power on, the monitor is just black no display. I started dismantle to look inside the monitor power board but nothing looks suspicious or burnt. So i took my external ccfl inverter to try to power the monitor ccfl lamps which consisted of 2 lamps on upper part and 2 lamps on the lower part.

Found out the upper ccfl lamp which is supposed to connect to cn304 on the power board did not light up. Then i installed a used working...
