I did it on purpose! look the pictures, I changed back to toasted resistors to finish this science project, because nobody answer my question "Can we re-use those have been red hot resistors again"! So I use customers one year warranty does free testing for me.........

I know you did it on purpose - I was being sarcastic.
I don't understand why you want to increase your chances of a failure, return and more work by using the old parts which have been significantly stressed.
If you want to know how long those toasted resistors last, just set them up in a circuit on your workbench passing the same current as they would have in the TV, and leave them there.

I am wondered if those resistors still maintain the Flame Proof characteristic, if not, you may not be lucky if the fault happen again and burn down the house.Never stop learning

I have a Hoover FM216LI cordless vacuum which isn't charging its internal battery.
I opened up the unit, and it has 6x Samsung ICR18650-22P cells connected in series.
5 cells were at about 3.3-3.1V. one was at 2.4V, so I assumed this cell was bad that's why the vacuum wasn't charging so I replaced it with another 18650, but after that the problem still persists, the vacuum turns on a bit and then cuts out since the batteries are empty.
So I think the over discharged battery wasn't the culprit, it was a symptom of the unit not being able to charge its batteries.... -

I have found a burnt resistor on pcb can anyone help me identify this resistor if you have a circuit diagram or similar unit
The printed circuit board markings are rd80 ver 2.0 and the resistor in question is R6

Hello everyone, next I have the following problem with the Sumsour 8586D 110v dual station I bought it a year ago and it worked wonderfully, now it presents the H-E error on the soldering iron side, the hot air side works correctly..... I disassembled the soldering iron head because the manual tells me that this error is due to ceramic resistance problems, in effect, I measured it and it is open, I bought a new one that is working verified in a soldering iron and nothing.... The same error continues, I proceeded to open the station and check visually, I found a totally damaged 1R00 surface mount... -
Has anybody tested this product? Posting this question on a Facebook tech group I'm in got a few responses like "that kind of thing corrodes the tips" and "just using normal solder paste is much better" so I'm not looking for generic responses like that, but rather, does anybody know for certain whether this exact product is good or bad for soldering iron tips?

I am trying to repair an ancient Dell 2209WA Monitor which suddenly shut off with a pop sound. On investigation found that one of the fusible resistors had blown. Further investigation identified multiple components as faulty because of which the fusible resistor blew. Please refer the attached circuit diagram showing the components that were found to be damaged.
1. FR950 - blown fusible resistor - 0.2 Ohm 1W
2. Q950 - shorted Q950 MOSFET - 650V 10A N Channel Mosfet
3. R835 - Blown Resistor - 20KOhm SMD resistor
4. D930 - Shorted Schottkey Diode...
