    Pin Connector, Any Idea?

Hey guys, working on a plasma cutter (Lincoln Tomahawk 625). On the connector between the torch and the machine, they use some type of pin terminal. I tried calling the company and was told just buy the whole connector, to fix one broken pin. I'll add some pictures of the whole connector, and the male pin. The male pin, has a female end on the other side, with a metal spring clip. I have tried looking all over, and these are the only pictures I can find of anything close.

    Thanks everyone for looking

Repairing pins on a connector is tough.
If you know the connector's (parent) manufacturer, you can usually find the pins there. I'm guessing the connector is custom made for Lincoln. Sometimes a logo on the molded body somewhere.
I.e Amphenol M or AT series pins. Mill-Max also has many different machined pins.

If the pins are molded in, I have soldered a new (cut short) pin onto the stub/remains of the old pin. It's a bit of microsurgery.
If the pins aren't molded into the housing and you can unlatch a pin and pull it out, then you just have to find a replacement pin. I'd take calipers to it and see what size it is. Check the busted off pin is not in the female end.

Some pins look shorter than others on that connector- I wonder if there is a safety function built in? As long as repairing it keeps it safe.

        Re: Pin Connector, Any Idea?

An electrical connector, is an electro-mechanical device used to join electrical terminations and create an electrical circuit. Electrical connectors consist of plugs (male-ended) and jacks (female-ended). The connection may be temporary, as for portable equipment, require a tool for assembly and removal, or serve as a permanent electrical joint between two wires or devices. An adapter can be used to effectively bring together dissimilar connectors.

If not for resale, You might bypass the connectors, connect electrical wires together.

Caution danger: a plasma cutter use high voltage DC in plasma generation. HV electrical wire needs.

Where to find a very small fpc connector 0.3mm between 2 pins ?
          by corrize
Hello, I search this connector (oxydated).
It's a fpc zif low profile connector. It come from camera sensor, it is very small : 0.3mm between 2 pins.
I ordered 2 from Aliexpress called « 0.3mm pitch » but one was 0.5mm between 2 pins and the other 0.6mm. In fact « 0.3mm pitch » seams to be the pad width and not the distance between 2 pins.
I can't find it. The other websites like mouser dont show the datasheet, and I can't check if it is 0.3mm between 2 pins ?

Do you know how to find this connector please ? What is the exact name for find it ?

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?
          by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

          Assuming...

Meaco Arete One / Deye Dehumidifier not working
          by CG2
I've got a dehumidifier that has stopped working. Plug it in, press the power switch, and it beeps 5 times. Nothing showing in the display (which is just two 7 segment displays) apart from the two decimal points flashing. The model is a MeacoDry Arete One 18L, which seems to be a rebadged Deye (all the boards are marked Deye). Here's what I've got so far (details in case anyone else in future should need them).

Starting with the power board. Mains power comes in at the red connector top left. The compressor is powered by the orange connector to the right of that and is switched by...

          Hi everyone!

First post on here so do tell me if i'm doing anything wrong. I have a laptop that came in with a broken hinge, but a healthy LCD. We replaced the LCD rear cover and now we do not get an image on the LCD anymore, though we get one via HDMI. There is sadly no schematic or boardview available for this motherboard (Bucks U42 DIS 17817-1) as far as i can tell, but I was able to identify which of the important pins on the LCD eDP connector (30 pin 2 lane) correspond to which pins on the motherboard display connector (which is 40pin, 30 for LCD and 10 for camera/face rec etc)...

Toshiba Satellite M50-A keyboard connector on LA-A481P motherboard
          by michhak
          Hi guys,
i have a damaged keyboard connector on my older Toshiba Satellite M50-A laptop. I know there is LA-A481P motherboard. In attachment pictures there is a real looking connector and i also found a schematic to the connector. But i need help with finding a real electronic part to replace the damaged connector. e.g. on aliexpress (or different page).
It is 34pin connector and the length from pin n.1 to pin n.34 is 26mm. So it means a pitch length is 0.764 mm. I have seen connectors with 0.5mm , 0.7mm , 0.8mm and 1mm pitch length. But not with 0.75. Is it some special custom connector...
