    Wiring of ceiling fan motor

I have my ceiling fan working fine with universal remote controller, only problem is that those controllers cant control reverse function. I wanted to add another controller which is described as be able to do it, but in fact I cant get it work with wiring of my motor or I doing it wrong. Original reverse switch was soldered to two sets of gray/brown wires, and power supply - orange/hot and white/neutral. I tried connect gray/ brown to forward/backward lines - it doesn't work. All those controllers need neutral connected to motor and there one (white) goes inside it, but apparently need neutral to be connected to one of brown or gray wires too. Original switch controls two sets of wires (hot and neutral), but wireless only hot sets. Is there any way to get it to work?
Here is similar controller and it works like it should, but I cant get my motor to work this way http://www.remotecontroleverything.c...pen-and-close/
