Someone know what microcontroller they use for this Cheap led controller? I’m Triyng to buy it on aliexpress or Made in china website asking if I can reprogram it with my code. Chinese people are very bad in communication. No answer or confuse one. I need 1000 part and I think I’m forced to do my own pcb with attiny85. I alredy done it with esp32 but I need a very small pcb with rf receiver like this to control a ws2812b strip

Thank you stj, that confirm what I’d read. That boards like this typically use STC microcontrollers.
I’d like to know the exact MCU model so I can do in-circuit programming. That would let me customize these boards without having to build my own from scratch. I’m not interested in reinventing the wheel!
The Chinese suppliers have been terrible at communicating with customers. I’ve been asking all over Alibaba, but I’m getting nowhere, even while offering an order of 1,000 units. A lot of respect for anyone who manages to do business with Chinese suppliers.
What in the picture is a controller I own (I took the photo). I’m asking what MCU it uses precisely because there is no marking on the board on the main chip. The only readable IC is an 8-pin 24C02 EEPROM.
The photo was meant to show the PCB layout and pin connections, since there’s no useful silkscreen or part number available.
If anyone has experience with this board, or can identify the MCU family from the board layout or from similar WS2812 chinese controller designs, that would be really helpful.
I don't know if I can link an example of the product: https://italian.alibaba.com/product-...606623374.htmlComment

by master3112I have an ASUS ROG Strix- G513IH-HN008, motherboard G513-6050A3249301- MB-A04 (A4)
When I received the device, the device has no function. After an investigation, I found that the PWM CONTROLLER RT6575B (U6100) is getting warm and there is a short circuit at the 3V3 output. This normally supplies 3V3 for the embedded controller IT5571E-128 (U301). When measuring and analyzing with a thermal imaging camera, I found that some components are damaged: SLG4E42553VTR (U8500), IT5571E-128 (U301), LAN RTL8111H (U450), LOGIC 74LVC1G08GW (U1900), RT6575B (U6100) All these components are on... -
by montabannourI would like to ask for some help for my MacBook Pro M3 pro A2991: to be honest I have limited knowledge on repairing MacBooks, this Laptop has a liquid damage but still powers on only when plugged in charger (the 2 USB Cs on the left side and the macsafe but the right USB was completely dead 5v ) and the damage was limited on the charging circuit and near the right side USB C and the Touch ID , so I cleaned it with iso Alcohol but after that he just started working fine for some minutes and detected the battery and charges it actually then this weird behavior comes on :
all the USB ports... -
by AlexVGHello everyone,
I have a BOSCH BBS265 battery with a RENESAS ISL94212 charge controller and an MPC5602D management controller.
Two out of five LEDs are blinking.
This sometimes happens when connecting the thick B+ wire for soldering.
In my opinion, the calibration table inside the RENESAS ISL94212 controller gets corrupted.
There is no visible physical damage on the board.
Replacing the ISL94212 with a new one does not help — nothing changes.
I have not yet tried using a donor chip.
The only official debugging kit I...02-14-2026, 09:01 AM -
by eccerr0r"Caseless Cheap Chinese electronic tools" I mean things you get from banggood, ali, fleabay, Am-Zon, etc. like AVR-Transistortester, miscellaneous signal generators, frequency counters, (variable) power supplies, oscilloscopes, low resistance meters, etc., etc. that comes optionally with a case, or comes only with a cheap piece of plastic that barely provides protection to the PCB.
Just wondering what of these (generally flimsy) tools you actually find use (almost) everyday and find indispensable for the price, compared to buying a Fluke or whatnot, if there is an expensive... -
by arkkkkHello everyone
A friend gave me this Baykunl D80 DRO (Digital Readout) he uses for a lathe/milling machine. The LCD stopped working, shows no image or color whatsoever, but the backlight works.
When you power up, sometimes you can see a brief image but for like 1ms then it goes black. That kinda tells me the LCD is actually good and the issue lies elsewhere.
The board has:- 1x ST STM32F103VET6 Micro-controller
- 1x RAIO RA8876LN4 LCD controller
- 1x Winbond W9864G6KH-6 SDRAM
- 1x Winbond W25Q128JV Serial Flash Memory
- 1x ATMEL ATMLH834 EEPROM
- 3x Texas
