    Part identification keyboard pcb

I’m trying to fix a Corsair mechanical keyboard but could someone tell me what the circled part is as I think it may be the issue. There is 2 legs with a small square seethrough piece at the top that is separated inside almost like a fuse but it’s labeled d140 which I assume is some type of diode?. I tried searching but couldn’t find any part that looks like this.

Yeah just an LED, probably for backlighting or something?

What's the fault with the keyboard?

HP Spectre x360 15-eb1079ng Keyboard-Layout missmatch after new motherboard
        by bubti
        Hello,

i hope i am at the right spot with my post and someone can help me.
I replaced the motherboad on my HP Spectre x360 15-eb1079ng with one i bought on ebay from a seller in china.
The old motherboard just died out of nowhere so i does not have the old informations of the old motherboard.

After i replaced the motherboard i noticed that the key with the <>| on my german keyboard does not work like it used to but it ist now a crtl-right key.
I found out, that i have to configure the keyboard layout in the BIOS and i also found that with the BiosConfigUtility...

820-02020 Super Weird Issue: Keyboard Input Character Map "Wrong"?
        by ugamazing
So, I have a really bizarre issue that I'm struggling to identify the cause of. Working on an 820-02020 board with some bizarre keyboard/input-source character mapping. My suspicion is a possible damaged SPI ROM (U1970), perhaps, but I'm really not sure in this case:

        1. The issue is pretty weird, but when installing MacOS, I noticed my WiFi password did not work. I quickly realized the special characters (!@#$%^& etc) were not mapping correctly.

        2. I noticed the keyboard layout/input-source is defaulting to JAPANESE every single time I restore the board. I am not...

Identification of SOT89-5 component in keyboard – key line control, 5 pieces on the PCB
        by splash221
        Good morning,

Please help me identify an electronic component. The component is in an SOT89-5 package with leads as shown in the photo. It is used on a keyboard board and controls the operation of a specific key row. There are five identical components on the PCB, and whenever I swap one with another, the corresponding key row stops working — so I conclude the component is faulty.

The keyboard is a SteelSeries Apex Pro (US). I cannot find a boardview or schematic online. I have already searched AllTransistors, AllDatasheet, etc., and found several candidate types (voltage...

        surface go 2 Part identification
        by tlavite
Hello, I am working on a surface go 2 that died due to an input power issue with the charger. I have identified this component labeled 2920M as a possibly bad part. This component starts screaming on thermal imaging as soon as the charger is plugged in. Problem is I cannot for the life of me find a datasheet or anything on this. I can't tell if it's a type of mosfet or what. Anyone have any ideas?
