Need Help Identifying A Diode

The Diodes arrived this morning and I have just fitted them both and the screen has now come back to life and works perfectly. I believe it's a common-ish fault on some MSI monitors from what people are saying on YouTube etc. -

Anything that is in pairs, like diodes, MOSFETs etc replace both

Yes. One measures correctly and one measures short circuit. I believe they are in parallel together which is why in-circuit they both measure short-circuit.Don’t worry about their op temp. You gotta be more concerned about the speed, voltage and rectification current.
if you want you could put a 200 or 400v 10A diode in there as long as the rectification speed is at least same as fast as the original diode and if it fits. Diodes are more forgiving.
Why do you think these 2 diodes are bad? Did you take them out of circuit and measure them?

I think I've worked it out, the letters at the end appear to be how they are packaged either individually or on a roll I think so as I'm only ordering a few and not thousands to put in a machine that really doesn't matter. The only other thing I can see different on the datasheets is the operating temperature is either 150 or 170 (or something like that) so doing a bit of digging around (and asking AI Co-Pilot) I believe the operating temperature of the ones I have is 150 so I have ordered some of those ones so we shall see how we go!Leave a comment:

I've had a look on RS Components and there are 6 variations that they sell, do I need a specific one or will the cheapest ones do?

Thanks again, all help much appreciated as it's saving things being thrown away after just a few years of use.

Need Help Identifying A Diode
I have an MSI 3PA1 monitor on my bench that wont power on. I have tested the 2 (what I believe to be Schottky Diodes) and both are shorted in both directions (a common faulty from what I can see on Google) but I'm not certain what the markings on the Diodes mean so I need some help in identifying which ones to order from Mouser please?
I've done a search for 101C 5100C and all I can find are datasheets for 5100C which say they are 20-100V 5A Schottky Diodes but I'm not 100% sure if this is correct or not and what significance the 101C is.
We have accounts with RS Components, Farnell, CPC and Mouser so I need to try and find the correct ones from one of these sites, any help (as always) is greatly appreciated as I'm learning all the time!Attached Filesif you find these attachements useful please consider making a small donation to the site

by DvsrHi. I need help from wiser guys. I am amateur in electronics and can't figure this out by myself.
I bought faulty speakers, M-Audio AV40's. Other speaker has all the electronics in it and the other speaker is just passive one powered by the other speaker's amp. Original problem with the speakers was loud buzzing. I figured out that there is something wrong with the capacitors. I went ahead and replaced every electrolytic capacitor on the PCB. The caps are good quality and have the same values as the original ones.
After replacing the caps I started testing out the speaker. It seemed...4 Photos-

by iyas132Hi there, i am currently diagnosing my corsair rm750 that wont turn on, after a power trip.
Before the power trip, previously i need to push power button on my pc case quite a bit in order to turn the pc (and power supply on), however after the power trip now i cannot turn the pc on at all and i opened the power supply, and found out some of the component(s) are blown. (picture attached)
My current diagnostic is that the (schottky) diode marked "SF" in the 5Vsb circuit are blown and possibly the ES1DF diode too.
Can anyone help me identify the component...1 Photo -
by repair-itI tried to locate online without any success but maybe someone else might have better luck. If it is a double diode - it's done - based on the reading I got in diode mode....

by magnehHello all!
could someone help identifying this ST diode?
Marking EUV C730
Photo attached,
Thanks in advance!... -
by DennisHThis diode is mounted on a Frigidaire electronic oven control PN:316131600. This diode runs hot enough that the PCB is showing slight burn marks (black soot looking area on PCB above the diode). It looks to me to be coming from the body of the diode.
The oven control is 22 years old and still works, but I can't get a new replacement, so I'm doing preventative maintenance and replacing a few parts on it that I think could fail - and this is one of them.
Can any of you identify this diode (see pic) and suggest a replacement that can handle more heat - or if not, can... - Loading...
