The pot in the pick is new and supposedly for my Kenwood KR-6030. The pot is exactly the same as the ones on my board except it has 8 pins instead of 6. As I look at it the lst 2 pins seem to be for ground. Is it possible to cut the last 2 pins off and still use it? It would fit into the board if I do so but I need to be sure I can. Any ideas on this delema. I can find another one anywhere. Thank for any help you can give me.

I'm learning about tapar in a pot, however, I have more info. The pot does not have a middle, meaning that it is not like a balance knob where there is a stop in the middle. It is a fluent turn from one side to the other so I think it must be a treble or bass pot. It is for a Kenwood KR- 4070 but I don't if it is specifically a treb or bass pot but feels like one. There is just 50k more. The length and fit are perfect for my KR 6030. If you need info from the prints I can provide that but I wonder if it would work generally and since I am using it as a treble pot what effect could the 100k. 50k difference have on it?

Well in my test the new 100k one moved from 47.5 all the way to the left to 000 in center up and then 47.6 all the way to the right. The 50k old one moved from 39.5 to 42,5, however I could only test the bass pot against the new pot. So I guess I could say it went from low treble to center and then high treble but I'm not convinced it would not hurt other connections.Comment

by RolandVossenHello,
I am attempting to repair a KVC50 kitchen machine. Problem is that speeds 1..5 on the speed dial do not work at all (motor is not engaged). The 'reverse' and 'slow' settings on the same dial however work properly. I removed the dial, its PCB components seems to be basic: a potentiometer, a microswitch, a couple of LEDs and a couple of SMD diodes or transistors. The dial has three cables with three connectors that hook up to the motor controller PCB. One connector (3 pins) for speed, one connector (5 pins) for the LEDs, and one connector (2 pins) for a safety switch that is...3 Photos03-16-2024, 03:55 AM -
by corrizeHello, I search this connector (oxydated).
It's a fpc zif low profile connector. It come from camera sensor, it is very small : 0.3mm between 2 pins.
I ordered 2 from Aliexpress called « 0.3mm pitch » but one was 0.5mm between 2 pins and the other 0.6mm. In fact « 0.3mm pitch » seams to be the pad width and not the distance between 2 pins.
I can't find it. The other websites like mouser dont show the datasheet, and I can't check if it is 0.3mm between 2 pins ?
Do you know how to find this connector please ? What is the exact name for find it ?

by DrDosHello all. I'll try to keep this short. I have no knowledge of electronics. I can use a multimeter and am familiar with caps to some extent. I bought a Kenwood KR-6030 vintage stereo. It need work and so I thought I would recap the thing since I get power to the on switch but nothing else is working. No lights, no sound and so forth. I went to Mouser to order caps and I find I am way over my head. I not only do not know the type of capacitors I need but Mouser and digikey do not accept Kenwood part numbers. I have the info such as 220uF 63v and such but no place to put it. I could buy a recap...

by DominanceINCHello,
I am a new forum member. I found a broken MSI motherboard with lot of problems. The other problems need schematic. Because, the missing parts what were breaking down with screwdriver and pliers at a standoff.
So, its actual problem is a missing Vcore and Gnd pins in the CPU socket. My question is that, can it be used safely without these two pins? Only for testing at first, while the other problems will be solved. I would wish repair them later.
The other spots are thermal phaste, because, the under educated installer of the CPU did wipe the contacts of the...2 Photos - Loading...
