    SOT23-5 LiFePO4 protection IC? 13D1S?

    I have a SOT23-5 marked

    "13D1 S"

I wonder if anyone recognizes this IC? It should be a LiFePO4 protection IC, but having problems finding the datasheet, anyone recognize this?

G00gl3 returns a 6-pin LDO which is not quite right...

As far as I can tell, this IC apparently protects overcharge and overdischarge, as wells being a balance controller (with external driver). Trying to figure out a possibly broken BMS, and due to the lack of usual ICs and transistors on this BMS I can only assume it's an all-in-one single cell protection/balancing IC.

That would be my guess as well seeing how it is setup like I have seen a lot of in this configuration the ones that have one ic chip for this particular purpose I have not seen any YouTube video on how can change how many battery cells you want to use so my assumption is that if it can be done it might be very difficult to do

But you can buy a couple of BMS protection boards that are not completely populated and configure it to how many battery cells you need for your application I have done this in the past and it has worked flawlessly the issue I had was when one of the battery cells went bad was the only issue that I have had

I need to create a 6.4 battery pack that can handle 12 amps but ones I have seen already made are 6 amps maximum the 9.6 volt one that I also bought are rated for 12 amps maximum so I going to remove one set of battery monitoring circuit components and change it from 3 battery cells down to two battery cells

oh no, this leads to the possibility there's crap on the other side of the board...

Crap! there is... ugh. This is bad, screwed up my plans... sigh.

Well, thanks, this is still a good lead on what to do with this board... maybe it's not so bad after all ... or not ... or don't know yet. Time to study.

Do you know where you can buy these BMS protection boards from using these ic chips any help would be greatly appreciated

I bought a case of them the battery cells are made in China the charge curve looks decent for 1 amp charging rate there is also a BMS protection board which here is the website link to them

                  https://batteryhookup.com/collection...-lifepo4-cells

Here are more of the same but the difference is that they do not have the BMS protection boards but have the tabbing on them

Customer plugged in samsung monitor into the board and used it as a power supply, killed UG800 and UG400. I replaced those two with an exact donor board we had In stock and working, board pulls 5volts and then gets like 2.89 amps on the left side. The singular port is the port that failed. Used a perfectly working chips from donor (board was locked) Now I only get 5volts 0 amps on that power and then 20volts 0 amps on the two left side ports, I checked for DFU and nope nothing, computer not turning on. No shorts present anymore. I am confused as I used the exact components from an identical...

TEAC AG 980 going protection mode
                  by Supradin
Hi everyone. I'm new on this things, this is my first amplifier after I start offering repair service almost for free, just for learning purpouse

So I have a amp that is going to protection mode. I saw that if I remove the ribbon cable which sends from main board B+,B- and signal for amplifiers card, is not going to protection mode.

So, from that ribbon cable y disconnect everything but b+ b-, and amp goes again to protection mode. So my guess was something is wrong in the amp board.

I disconnect all transistors and amp is ok.
                  After, I connect the...

I am by no means an expert on this type of troubleshooting but I can follow direction real well.

I'm no stranger to using a meter and soldering iron so I'm looking for some help in fixing an old amplifier/system I got. This is part of a system "V-1200" by Aiwa where there are several components. My first problem seems to be the amplifier.

It seems to be in protection. When first turned on I hear the inital relay coming on but never the second relay which is connected to the protection IC. I don't see any obvious bad components on the board. If I ground the...
