I wonder if it is real, or missleading some other problem? ?............... https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ceb09rxPohA ?....... in video is presented claims that new piezo fix problem of poor production of moist, what is electronic science stand behind that conclusion? Can piezo be worn out and hot to tested it for that condition.............. in the past I see video where is piezo torturing through test vith high voltage, various frequency, and it is amazing what can survive and operate after damaged.

piezo elements can fail for several reasons.
drive them card enough and the ceramic wafer can crack,
if they get really old the silver layer can tarnish and flake off,
and if they get wd40 or some other things on them the silver layer can flake off.
NEVER solder to them without solder that is atleast 5% silver or it will desolve the plating btw.Comment

Yes, the video dont explain too much, but on many places people have same problem, and on some they claim that replacing piezo fix it... https://www.shroomery.org/forums/sho...umber/27864401 Short stoty... Before a few years ago I was received a ultrasonic difusor to repair, the fault is described like "first few seconds produce mist, than rapidly reduce, still working (boubling in bath) but nothing mist came out...".................. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jJS8D6AHpOs ...from that description, I only briefly check with water in bath if they initialy work (and it was), and promptly open device for measurement (so I do not check for fully initial claims in fault description)....... I see nice burned pcb behind mosfet, but mosfet is reading good with dmm and transistor tester. I managed to make a copper heatsink on it, and after assembled I tested over 8 hours in continuity, full power, where hour by hour got stable production of mist about 30g/h, stable temperature in bath and on mosfet heatsink (no any noticable heating)............... So, I think that simptoms is connected with previous overheating of mosfet, and belive that I fix device, certainly I have proof because filming video, where is mist produced flawlessly............... But, after transport back I got information that nothing changed, same fault description............ Because device is from my friend, he send me device again and tell let it keep it for myself. I now collecting information, because, after cleaning it well (with water, vineger, its clean like new) I can confirm the original fault description, and can not understand what happend to it that in some case work ok, and in some not... If the piezo is worn out, why initialy work well? I am sorry for the mess, from recently I cant quote properly... https://www.badcaps.net/forum/genera...28#post3474728Comment

by rouninHi everyone,
I'm working on a MacBook Air 2020 (A2337, board 820-02016) and running into a strange USB-C issue. I've gone through quite a bit of testing and part replacement, but I'm stuck — hoping someone here can shed some light.
🛠 Original Issue
The machine initially wouldn't negotiate 20V over USB-C — stuck at 5V.
Diagnosis showed PP1V5_UPC0_LDO_CORE shorted to ground.
I replaced U3100 (UF400) using a donor board (A2179), and the machine powers on fine now.

by ugamazingI have three identical-spec 820-01700 boards (2.6/32/512), and ALL THREE boards came to us with the same fault, from different sources: The boards don't wake from hibernation with the keyboard or lid, they ONLY wake when you press the power button. I understand this is a very minor issue, but the boards must be fixed!
We will of course begin with the obvious (checking lid signals), but I couldn't help but notice these three boards were all 32GB variants. Has anyone noticed an issue relating to these 32GB boards in particular? I of course don't think it's a RAM issue, but it's bizarre... -

Hello guys!
I have a strange issue with my laptop keyboard and I'm lost trying to detect what's wrong - the KB9028Q-C or the keyboard itself.
It powers on OK and has no other issues except the following:- CAPS LOCK does not work at all
- Fn button toggles Flight Mode
- When I press 't' or '5', it produces 't5', and when I press 'y' or '6', it produces 'y6'
- (with SHIFT pressed: 't%' and 'y^' respectively)
but when I press and hold...06-27-2025, 01:10 AM -
Hello everyone,
I'm experiencing an issue with my Alienware 15 R2 (Service Tag: DL7NN32). The laptop works perfectly when connected to the AC adapter — it powers on and functions normally. However, the battery does not charge. If I disconnect the DC adapter, the laptop shuts down immediately, as the battery is at 0%. I have replaced the battery with a new compatible one, but the issue persists. I also replaced the AC adapter with a compatible one, but the battery still doesn't charge.
To assist with troubleshooting, I'm attaching two power circuit schematics:- Power

by wizard13Hello everyone,
I am experiencing a BIOS-related issue with my Dynabook Satellite Pro C50D-B-100. When I power on the laptop, the screen stays black, and there is no response from the system. I suspect a corrupted BIOS.
I have checked the forum and the available documentation but could not find a solution specific to my issue.- Brand & Model: Dynabook Satellite Pro C50D-B-100
