I found this video when looking for something else but this is how to use a phone charger for testing LED light bulbs

Here is the website link for this project that I plan on making

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=atLERDZx0Q8

But I going to use a different enclosure for this project and make it more professional looking and use safety features that was not used in this video

I have some 24 volt switching power supply from my battery testing machine that I modified for a different switching power supply that is more suited for my new application and new purpose for testing BMS protection boards

If can find one that I can modify the voltage output on I have a lot of small phone chargers that I have in my collection of switching power supplies

I also have a battery operated LED tester that I will be using and instead of using 30 volts like in the video I going to set it to 9 volts instead

ASUS X54H laptop thinks it's always charging even with charger unplugged
    by flat-earther
The charging indicator light on my ASUS X54H laptop is always on even when the charger is disconnected.

Windows also shows ''Plugged in'' when charger is not connected.

This problem started year ago gradually, when unplugging the charger the charging light took several seconds to disappear, then minutes, and now almost always on even when unplugged for an entire day.
Strangely, before sometimes immediately when plugging in the charger the charging light went away, and later came back with it connected.
If I let battery run out and say it has 3% Windows will...

    Allview phone charger A248-NB2-501000

I've got an old phone charger which cannot hold voltage, it goes from 5V to 4V the fault only seems to happen when charger has been on for a while e.g. when warm. Fault happens when high current or low current is being drawn from charger. I've checked capacitors for capacity and ESR and I think they are still good, I've even replaced a cap to get better ESR. Fault still happens it goes slowly from 5V to 4V then interrupts power and restarts. Because it performs on high current (0.67A) and low current (20 mA) the same way I'm guessing it's not the caps but more likely the switching IC. However...

Lenovo T460 Only Charges on One Charger
    by motormayhem
    Laptop Question
    Hello,
I'm working on a Lenovo T460 that has been having trouble charging as of late. Its worked well since I've owned it for a few years. When I went to use it the other day it was dead and wouldn't turn on (was sitting on an Anker 65W GaN charger). After some fiddling with the charger I got it to turn on and start charging, but seemed like the charger was not working as it should (took a few plug and unplug cycles to get it to start charging).

A day later it was dead again and wouldn't boot/charge no matter what I did. No lights or anything when...

Help with trying to fix phone that is not charging (Pics inside)
    by SluggerB
I have two TCL A30 phones.

Old Phone: This phone worked fine for years, then stopped charging If you plugged a charger into it, the phone would make the charging sound, the phone would tell you it is charging, but the battery icon would not have the charging symbol in it and the battery would not charge.I tried new battery, same behavior.

New Phone: Works fine, bought as a donor board to try and repair Old Phone

My interest here is to repair Old Phone, using components parts off New Phone if needed. I am not interested in replacing Old Phone with New Phone....

new OS on a Sonim XP5s phone
    by keeney123
To you programmers out there I want to know if it is possible to put a new OS on the Sonim XP5s phone? I only need this phone to make calls, receive calls, have a list of contacts and be able to call voice mail.
I bought this phone new Sep.2021 as an unlock phone from a third-party seller. The phone worked fine until Jan 2022. I then had intermittent problems with the sound setting resetting itself. One of the settings, outdoor, would go to silent all by itself. When in silent mode it does not indicate a call has come in. I missed very important phone calls. All the other setting in sound...
