    building a simple taser.

im looking at building a simple taser for my personal use(i like being shocked )

im thinking of taking a ccfl inverter, attaching a small resistor as a dummy load so it doesnt work out, and then creating two charging terminals.

then having a seperate little box containing a few high voltage capacitors in series and parrallel, and then two prongs to press against the charging terminals,

to discharge it, i will place the prongs on my skin.

    any ideas?

i dont have access to anything like that.

approximately what total capacitance should i aim for?

im going to want high total voltage and relatively low capacitance, dont want to be dangerous.

        how does this one look

camera flash circuit would be easy to work with also

are you sure you didnt mean this though

lol, i wish i could buy those, because to be honest i am curious about using electricity in an erotic sense. though this project is just for some simple shocks, because for some reason moderate shocks make me feel euphoric.

i have a camera flash device, but i think the diode is fried.

i have a couple 200v and 400v ceramic capacitors that should work nice since they are high voltage and low capacitance. but im not sure how to charge them, because im pretty sure a ccfl inverter outputs AC does it not?

yes ccfl inverter outputs high voltage AC. ccfl starting voltage can be very high.

honestly, using an electrical device not designed for such recreational use constitutes an unacceptable risk.

well, i would say it is mutch more safer to use an ready build phasor. Ok those 80000v will probably not making you euphoric...

Besides some erotic torture is this kind of device good for any seriouse muscle training?

yes but not this $20 bullshit you need a powerful one for use by physiotherapist. its very good for muscle training. think for instance your quadriceps. now lock that up as hard as you can. machine can do that harder. its scary...

Interesting. And for witch desease this would be recommended? Or i am wrong with the conclusion, that sutch a physiotherapist will do it not necesarily for well beeing (unless you have some $$).
