    RM801 is a .22ohm 1W resistor. It's in series with the main switching FETS. It sounds like the supply is cycling on and off, often caused by an overload on one or more of the rails. Disconnect each of the rails until the rails remain steady.

    Thanks Nickon51 but the bn4400155a does not use the same ICs. No F9222l nor Viper12A on the bn44-00155a. The 00157a seems closer but has no Viper12a. No schematics for the 158a

    I changed the bridge rectifier and the burnt RM801 .22R. The fuse does not blow up any more.
    But no luck, I have 650V after the mosfet on the PFC-DC point arriving on the F9222l thru the RM801.
    Is it due to a bad mosfet (11N60C3) ? Or something else ?

      Hi all, new member, i too am trying to repair power board BN44 00158a i have removed a resistor from the board (RM 814) the schematic shows it as 3.3kj 1W(s), can someone explain the kj is this just kohms and i am struggling trying to find a replacement
