    IRG4PC50U Component compatibility for repair

    Hi everyone.

I have a quick one (I hope). I have to swap two IGBTs with part number IRG4PC50U but the warehouse sent me IRG4PC50W.

Are these compatible? Or should I reorder the IRG4PC50U?

    Thanks!

P.S: Here I leave the links for the data sheets:

My first question is what type of repair are you doing

The "U" version is faster and has a lower Vce(on) which means that it should be more efficient and dissipate less power.

        Thanks for your answers.

I'm a noob, so I don't know what's a difference that "breaks the deal" in component characteristics.

I'm attempting to repair the control board of a DeDietrich induction hob. Two of the IGBTs were shorted. I did check the other control board, so I know that's not normal. I took them out and the short is gone. I watched a video about how to check IGBTs out of the circuit and they are definitely broken.

I know that's not enough to be sure that's the issue (maybe there's another component that's causing the IGBTs to break), but that's what I'm capable of knowing practically nothing.

2/3 years ago I had to swap the relay marked in the picture, but that was easy to spot as it was burnt. After that, it was working without any issues until two weeks ago. A "pop" sound was heard, and the hob no longer turned on.

I'd bitch about it. Tell them to send you the right part.

TBH if the components were free and I didn't have to worry about it breaking I'd sub them to play with it. But in a mission critical replacement, especially if you specifically ordered a certain part, you better get that part...

AOC CQ27G2U/BK - in need of data sheets
            by David Stroe
I am trying to repair my monitor that shows image but the backlight is not turning on. I think either the power supply is not working properly or the LED strip is failing, which seems unlikely (the whole strip is off).

I really need help in finding the data sheets for this monitor's boards. The data sheets I need are for the following boards:

            Power Supply: 715GA907-P03-000-001S and 715GA721-P01-000-0H4K
            Main Board: 715G9500-M0C-B00-005K
            T-CON Board: 19Y_270_EU3MQ_SR_V02_HF

If someone could please provide any of these data sheets, it would be awesome....

Can you clean the internal sheets of a tv? I have a 58-inch TV and I don't know if it's worth cleaning the sheets. I have seen that it has dirt on the sheets and the leds are blown. I don't know if they look good when you clean the sheets. Thanks in advance.

            CD3217B12 compatibility
            by 2wtn
Hi all, have been lurking here for quite some time, and now my first post

People who have experience replacing CD3217B12 chips (on macbooks), I have a few questions for you.

As far as I understand, the CD3217B12 exists in more than one type and the different types are not cross-compatible. Is that correct? How many types are there in fact that you know of and which motherboards is each type compatible with? Do they look visually the same, or is there some difference in marking?

What should I look at when buying these chips online, for example on...

Compatibility of main boards between different variations of samsung MU6100
            by JSin21
            Hoping someone here could possibly help. I have a few questions in regards to compatibility with main boards. But I'll give a quick short run down on what's going on first;

I have Samsung Smart TV UA65MU6100WXXY version DA01

Now years ago it started intermittently playing up after a lighting strike. Lighting hit the block of units i was living in at the time. Ever since that night the TV started having a mind of its own, It would randomly turn itself off or on, and all inputs stopped responding like HDMI, aerial, but USB still worked. Anyway, over the next few months...
