Hi, I would like some opinions on these JBC clones soldering stations. Are they any good?

        top one looks nice,
but JBC cartridges are expensive so few people use them.

most of us use T12 based or old-style irons

          Recommended BGA Rework Stations
          by learnmore
          Hello Community,

Based on your experiences and knowledge, which BGA Rework stations would you recommend for general use for an enthusiast at the low-mid-to-high price range? Based on what I've seen, £6000 may be considered high. I particularly like those with adjustable focus, built-in suction and ball alignment features, but I appreciate that they may be on the high end.

Also any thoughts on the PUHUI T-862++ IR Rework Station, LY GXX models, WDS-XXX models?

Sony STR-DN1050 - No video, no BT, No WIFI, and FM is not changing stations
          by jason123
          Hello folks,
New to Audio equipment - I got this receiver, I connected speakers and I tried to connect to Bluetooth. My phone would not see the receiver (Receiver flashes the BT as if it's trying to pair). Then I put it on FM radio, I get white noise on the speakers. I click the +/- Tuner button, and it moves from saved station 1 through 28, but the frequency is 87.x MHz not changing. At this point, thinking I may need to do a FW upgrade, I connected an HDMI cable to the TV and TV reports "No Signal" - TV "Kind of" sees the receiver (When connected to greyed out port,...

          HP Docking Stations Power Supplies...?
          by SolomonMan
          All,
I recently purchased for a colleague and myself two used HP Docking Stations. They are for home use and are exact model as the ones we use at work for our laptops. We are both Software Developers.

Anyways these docks are HP Model 5TW10UT#ABA.

Unfortunately they did not come with there Power supplies (PSU) and I got them reasonable from eBay.

I purchased 2 new from Amazon After Market Power Supplies(PSU). Same Voltage and Same Amperage and in fact it mentions on the Amazon page they are supported for these docks as well.

Radio, no stations, quiet static sound
          by diggitt
          Hi,
I am repairing a DeWalt DC011 radio. I found that the secondary coil of the transformer had gone open circuit and the amplifier ic had shorted. I have replaced both but I can’t tune it in to a station and the static is very quiet. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you

I would like to make two laptops clones of each other
          by med458
Hello I am eager to take two laptops with identical specs and modify the internal UUID, serial numbers, MAC address, etc... so that the laptops are clones of one another. I was going to try it with two Lenovo T480 units, but from what I read, it seems if I flash the MEC1653 nvram and use the Lenovo bios management tool to restore the UUID, I am unable to set a user-defined UUID and instead a random one is generated, so it is impossible to create a clone. I read about Asus tools for modifying these variables in these forums, such as Coffee and FD44Editor, but the software also came with warnings...
