    FFT Usage

Does anybody have any examples of using the FFT fucntion on an oscilloscope on circuits ?
I read the post from my previous enquiry this looked similar to what I read on the internet ( Think it came from TEK).

    Re: FFT Usage

Useful to represent a complex waveform in the frequency domain. It's a very fancy spectrum analyzer. It is useful anywhere it is desired to observe the frequency response of a system. Do FFT on the input and output of some signal processing circuit and it will give you a pretty good idea of what that circuit is doing frequency wise.

Would be *extremely* useful in circumventing embedded equalization systems in factory car audio systems where the manufacturer is unwilling to tell you what their DSP/EQ is exactly doing. Circumventing fixed equalizers is needed when fitting aftermarket speakers. Most simply junk the stock amp but sometimes the EQ is done in the head unit and this causes real problems if the head unit is vehicle specific and aftermarket replacements are unavailable or impractical. (split units with a sat nav screen and the controls as a separate unit come to mind...Nissan uses these but fortunately the EQ is in the Bose amplifier)

Medion Erazer beast x25 62307 MSN 30031969 GM5ZGXW AMD version

Hello. The laptop freezes and resets only at low CPU usage, practically at IDLE after a few minutes. There is no problem under a load, and I benchmarked it for over an hour. I noticed that one of the CPU coils was making whining noise at low CPU usage. I previously thought it was a BIOS problem, but updated BIOS and no change. I'm thinking of changing the CPU DrMos'es there are 5 of them all together. I have already swapped the DrMOSes first one with the last one (I desoldered them and soldered in swapping DrMos no.1 with...

Bowers & Wilkins PX7 S2 Needed help with identifying charging IC
      by sofles
      Hi there,

Recently I bought broken Bowers & Wilkins PX7 S2, the problem with them is that battery discharges on its own even with headphones turned off. It is a quite common issue with this model and even with model higher PX8.

With help of thermal camera I found out that there is one IC that is hot even with headphones turned off. To check if I'm correct I bought another PX7 S2 working one and replaced small charging board with this IC and problem solved, battery no more drains on its own. After changing board back to original problem returned so I'm 100% sure problem...

I bought "ADATA C008 / 16GB" USB Flash Drive yesterday, and I'm curious about meaning and usage of this 10-characters number and 4-charatcer string on USB Standard-A, "male" plug.

Samsung UN65NU6950 edge lit TV LED bar after 10k usage hours
      by howardc64
Edge lit LED TV has 1/4 section backlight out. Replaced the LED bars and sharing the findings on the original 10k hour LED bar.

These are 6V LEDS (reads ~5.4+ on my LED tester) New bars read about 147V per 1/2 of each bar. Clearly original LED bar has some problems
      • One section is 153v with a dead LED so clearly built up resistance
      • One section flickers but magically fixed itself after driving individual LEDs. All done with an LED tester so don't know if would work driven by PSU backlight circuit and how long it would last
      • Connector pin to test pad resistance is nearly 0 ohms.

      Bowers & Wilkins PX7 S2e Internal Photo's
      by sigh45
This is a long shot but does anyone have a photo of the USB Charge board wiring? I have a pair here that somebody has used a blowlamp to get the port off, Luckily the tracks are all good but some of the NC and filter cables were desoldered. A new port is fitted but there isn't a sniff of any marking on either side of the headphones as to the cables use. Here's hoping

      Cheers
