Samsung LNS4692DX has backlights but no picture

Check the CP (fuse) on the T-CON board. I replaced it with 3A PICO FUSE.
Very simple fix for 46". The repair shop told the owner that it needs fuser! and wanted $250 to repair it. Going to let it burn in for a couple of weeks.

I have encountered the same issue before - just a fuse blown - seems common on the old Samsung "LTA" LCD panels. The fuse is too small and blows after about three years, maybe up it to 4 or 5A.

Looks like an older Samsung TV there - never seen a 2 layer PSU in an LCD from Samsung before... And 24V for inverters, very strange...

I use through hole Littlefuse PICOII fuse, just bend the leads.

My tv just went dead and seems like it might be the fuse too, i hope thats all.

When you say the CP fuse do you mean the one directly to the left and between C18 & C14 of your last image budm?

The little device under CP1 and above VIN is the fuse.

Re: Samsung LNS4692DX has backlights but no picture

Purchased this model based on this and other threads indicating a high likelihood of just a blown fuse. TV has a giant shield covering all the boards. First found 3 bulged 1000uf/25V Capxon caps on the power supply. Tcon was a little tricky to remove since it is blocked by a shield and part of the frame. You need to peel back the foil to access the flex connectors and unscrew enough of the frame to slide the board out. The fuse is 0603 and disintegrated when I tried to remove it. I replaced it with a 1206 3A fuse from another tcon board.

Yes, it is working but haven't had time to leave it on for a couple of hours.
