Question DVD power supply with TEA1532 and no external MOSFET?

Recently, I have made a circuit of the power supply from a Voxson DVD250 DVD player on
Interestingly, the TEA1532 datasheet only shows applications using an external MOSFET connected to the Driver pin (pin 7) of the TEA1532, but the circuit of the power supply shows Pin 7 of this chip is not used; only the Drain (Pin 8) is used for driving the transformer.

I still don't know how this could be possible.
My first choice in quality Japanese electrolytics is Nippon Chemi-Con, which has been in business since 1931... the quality of electronics is dependent on the quality of the electrolytics.
