Another G72 - 120SD with black screen

So , this G72 laptop has a black screen.
DC in led is on and the fan is spinning.Voltages seem to be ok.

But nothing on the screen (black) - no leds blinking on keyboard ...

So I did flash the bios rom - W25Q32V - with the 1425F36_BID03651_Main. bin .And now the CapsLock and the NumLock are blinking 1 time (slow).

That would mean that the CPU is faulty.I replaced the CPU but still the CapsLock / NumLock is blinking 1x

Then I flashed the bios rom with the 1425F37 4MB bin.
But still the same thing.The CapsLock / NumLock blink 1 x slow ...

So , what next ?? Should I also flash the EC rom ??
Because the EC BIN file is also in the zip file ??

I must make a correction here.Seems I was still thinking about the other G72 with no life in it.
However this MB has a ENE KB3926QF as SIO.

So , any ideas what to check here ?

This is the schematic that I have.But I'm not sure if it is the correct one.
Because it does not mention the HM55 chip as Ibex Peak-M ...

According to your schematic DRAMRST is pin 30 on DDR3 slot, pin75 +1.5VSUS, Pin 75 DDR VTT 0.75V

I will check.But I noticed that in the HP user manual they specify that the G72 should (only) have a i3 - 350M CPU (but I'm not really sure)
However in this laptop there is a i3 - 330M (I have replaced it with another i3 - 330M with the same result)

I now have bought a i3 - 350M (will see if that will make a difference)

Any luck? I have the same problem. After showing some distortion in picture through hdmi connection it refuses to start. Just the power led on but nothing else. Did a quick reflow on the graphics chip but still nothing.

I don't want to make things more confused.Because I have 2 G72 - 120SD .one has the KB3926 and the other has the ITE SIO chip.

The one with the ITE chip is blinking 1x on the Capslock.
The other with the KB SIO chip is doing nothing - no adapter light white or orange.

I have just resumed to work on that one.So , the moderator put that post as a new thread in this forum.

I must say that the 2 G72 - have different MB with different numbers.

Maybe the moderator can delete the other thread - about the G72 - and we will use this one .....
